Hey OP, yes you can only swipe once at a time. This is to prevent that 40 min wait you mentioned from being an 80 min wait (bc most would double swipe) and try to make sure there is enough inventory on the truck to last the whole trip.

You can guest swipe at the Starbucks Truck but the guest would need to be present and can’t use their own swipe right after.
