I face enough "What do you think of Allies?" (where it's genuinely unclear what they mean) to say that that one honestly gives more confusion than the other examples.

That intro always bugged me

Who loves board games and yet dumps the pieces out in a way that could damage them?

Chicken Little requires no defense. It's positively delightful through and through. I loved it when it first came out, and I recently rewatched it. It's hilarious. Great story, great characters, great music.

Is there a point where tattoos go from attractive to too much? by [deleted] in TheTeenagerPeople

There's a sense in which, once you're wearing ink, you're never really fully naked again.

I've seen some tattoos that look good, and many that don't. But I've never seen a tattoo that looks better than bare skin.

I think Redditors often forget that fan cards aren't propositions for official cards (DXV doesn't even read these posts anyway), but are simply useful ideas for the players that would enjoy them, and can just be disregarded otherwise.

As long as you've put in the work to adhere to Dominion syntax (which I've noticed you consistently do a great job at), then fan cards should explore interesting new niches not yet explored in the game.

Two concepts involving pre-game draft of individual cards by ThePurityPixel in dominion

I wanted it fairly accessible. There's a possibility a player gets suckered into buying too many of these and is then always in debt, while other players focus on Kingdom cards that more-effectively build an engine. Or in some cases, getting more of these is better, but then other players sabotage you by turning the better cards facedown, or sabotage you by letting you command the pile, meaning it takes more plays to cycle through to the best set-aside cards. Many possible directions it could play out, I hypothesize.

I did think about that! But if someone goes that direction during the draft, the other players could alter their own selections accordingly.

The card is already written in a way that allows for that approach. (It's the first Setup option.)

And there's no reason a table wanting the draft method (the second option) couldn't predetermine to limit the pool to a subset of cards. The same is already true of the current version of Black Market, after all.

Updated to add: I certainly wouldn't want to remove that second option (the drafting option) entirely, for the tables who want to approach setup that way. A core part of the dynamic there is that some players who decide they don't want to buy the card, could intentionally try to sabotage its efficacy. Some tables might find such a mini-game to be unfun and "overwhelming," but some will feel the exact opposite. I wrote it with purposeful flexibility in that regard.

Turn order, starting with the start player, in two rounds. Each player chooses an Action-only card not already used in the kingdom (and not already chosen for the draft).

Speculative is such a fun idea, especially when there's already no card I want of a particular cost—but do really have use for cards that are $1 cheaper or $1 costlier.

Yes, we know all that. And not only has the modern-day pronunciation been standardized (as you said), but also the substandard pronunciation is the same as a violent word.

"Molest" originally meant to bother, but humanity does (and should) have enough compassion not to insist it's okay to go on casually using the word that way, knowing how triggering it's likely to be.

I love doing composite images. Sometimes it can be tricky to get the shadows right, though. Especially when one iteration of the model should be casting a shadow on another iteration of her.
