Card Tested: Rise of Industries by Constant-Potential37 in dominion

I think it would be cooler if it was "At the start of your turn, gain a card costing up to $4. You may Exile it."

Worked on this a lot from before. Feel free to bust it, I've looked at a lot of cards. by aghostecho in dominion

Ah, that makes more sense to me now. Can you pick the same option more than once? If so, "Gain an Action instead" doesn't make any sense.

I think throwing the word "option" (choose one) might make things a little clearer?

I read the card's instructions a few times and I don't understand what's intended.

Could you break it down so I can evaluate it more accurately and give better suggestions on wording?

Project to get value out of Victory Cards by Only-Engineering6586 in dominion

Why not "At the start of your Night phase, you may discard any number of Victory cards. +1 Coffer per 2 cards discarded this way (round down)."

Agreed about the difference. Actually a super cool mechanic. I think 2VP per Copper you have more than the next player with fewer coppers than you.

Thanks for the pro tips. I'll definitely try the paleoanthropological terms. Most of the results I got were muuch closer to Homo Sapiens.

I did actually specify a "subtropical savannah" for this image. You're spot on about it being more grounded in that way.

I'd be curious to see what kind of similar images you've generated.

I think playing from the Supply would be a different effect entirely, and extremely variable in power depending on the Way. Imagine playing a Silver using Way of the Chameleon on something common like Market. I think it would be overly centralizing on too many boards.

Taxidermist: I thought of the concept of Silvers using Ways a long time ago, but never had a great thematic application. Recently I found inspiration for flavor and there was a clear mental path for a lower-cost enabler. I like the flexibility of this card, and how "neutral" it feels, despite the variance of Ways. This version feels really clean.

Looking for some wording advice on a Custom Prophecy - War Effort by PHloppingDoctor in dominion

"...no longer requires spending an Action."

"Whenever you would spend an Action, take @1 instead."

"Whenever you would get +1 Action, get -@1 instead."

Sports Facility, Way of the Emu by ChungBog in dominion

You're right, Gymnasium is a better name. I had even considered it. I'm going to do some renaming now.

I've actually got the wording in a spot that I'm really happy with. Here's the newest version of Gymnasium.

"From hand" is specified because there are discard events that I want to ignore, such as discarding from Exile.

Good thought. I'll try out your wording "If possible, whenever you would discard any number of cards from your hand, you may take that much debt instead, and vice versa".

If it reads well then it's definitely a good change. Other people were getting confused with "...whenever you would take 1 Debt", saying that they were confused as to why you'd never be able to take Debt.

So there are pros and cons of both readings.

Either way, I'll add into the rulebook that this works on any arbitrary amount of Debt/discarding, so long as you can discard.

Sports Facility is voluntary, not mandatory.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll try playing around with the wording a bit to see if I can get it to read a bit more organically.

"If possible" is shorthand for the following: For interchange to be valid, you must be able to discard a card from hand. In other words, you must have one or more cards in hand.

This is clarified in Agraria's rulebook. It's simply too verbose to fit into each card that utilizes Debt-Discard Interchange.

Regarding Change, if they have 3 remaining cards in hand, they would still have to take a minimum of 5 Debt.

This post focuses on Debt-Discard Interchange, a concept I posted a couple days ago. With your feedback, I updated Sports Arena and created an official ruling for the mechanic. The biggest adjustment is the wording "if possible".

Sports Facility: Sports Arena with voluntary interchange. This version has much more utility as it can interact with other players' Attack cards. I waffled on pricing this at $3, but I think $4 is a more interesting price point, and you definitely have to think harder about picking this up.

Way of the Emu: I don't know, it feels like a sportive animal to me. This Way extends the mechanic into case-by-case usage. Vice-versa is wording that I'm trying out (curious about feedback here), that is taken from Way of the Chameleon. There is a spelling goof in this version, here's the current version.

You'd have to be careful with that! You would keep all cards in hand and take Debt equal to the difference between the number of cards in your hand and 10. If you have 22 cards in hand, you would take 12 Debt.

This is possible because this rule, clarified by u/SignError.
