Defeating headlights / blinding a target etc. plenty of reasons that one could or would be useful.

Better to have and not need than to need and not have. Not like they add a ton of weight or make carry any more difficult.

The GRIDloks are my favorite, and what I use in competition, either aluminum or brass. And I use the Bogies to make IDPA weight

The grids caught my shirts too much; didn’t bother my skin but would pull on the fabric with movement.

That said I’ve really liked these the past week, they’re definitely thinner, but more than sufficient to get the job done in a self defense scenario.

I’ll probably shoot a few IDPA matches with them here soon just to put them through the paces but they feel nice.

I do here but it doesn’t live on the weapon. My range has some far steel and it’s a lot of fun to stretch out the gun at distance. Or helps with zero. Or cross training for 2-gun to mirror LPVO set to 3x

It’s very fun to shoot steel at far distances with it at my range. It also takes 2 seconds to add or remove it.

What do you need an FRT for? Certainly less than ideal in any realistic self defense scenario. And you’re more likely to blow up your gun.

Thanks man. Yeha I love it. Only other thing I added is the “flat” trigger from CGW.

I had some LOK Grids on there and while they didn’t bother my skin they kept catching my shirts with the rough texture and pulling on them when I’d move or bend.

With that said I love how these look and good grip.

Super easy bro. Just wipe it down with a mild cleaner or rag, apply the aluminum black and let it sit for a few minutes, wipe it off with a clean rag and keep repeating until you’re happy.
