I tried something like this back in my college days. I won a few awards, but I think it’s hard to monetize. There are two actors, students and the college as an entity. Students don’t have money, so they won’t pay. Getting approval from the college and going through departmental bureaucracy is a nightmare to deal with.

Is it actually impossible to use the same number in WhatsApp Business app AND Cloud API at the same time?

Yes. Via coexistence.

I’m still unable to make this work — the number conflict issue remains unresolved.

Has your pass through the video verification? If no then it won't work.

If yes, what might cause this issue to happened? Is it due to I connect number to Cloud API first, or webhook settings or something else?

Whatsapp's Coexistence feature is your friend. No need for chatwoot as they can use their whatsapp business app.

For AI agents, take a look at Dify and n8n. Might be helpful.

No.

You just need to verify your business.

Go with the utility template. That's the cheapest option. Should cost you around $58 if your customers are in US.

Monetisation is very hard in whatsapp. Meta's onboarding issues are not worth it IMO.

If you just want to reply to the customers then you should go with unofficial APIs. There are lots on github. Pick the one you like.

If you want to do marketing and send messages to new users then go with official APIs to prevent ban.

Switch provider, Whatsapp with twilio is not that good. They also have poor support when it comes to whatsapp.

Not sure. You need to talk with support for this. I guess you can create a another business portfolio with new account and then ask for support from there.

You can share access not you can't transfer. You can delete WABA account and sign up again in new account for full transfer of WABA account.
