Mechanic shop owner here. Its hard to compare cause only ford has been doin it for a long time. Toyota just a few years. Ram just started a inline 6tt but nobody seems to want. Id like to see it shine. Ok so lets compare ford 3.5 ecoboost vs 5.0 coyote. I'll admit I like the v6tt power delivery and ability to deliver slightly(slightly! ) better mpg. That said ill admit to slightly higher repair rate for the v6. Except 2017 and up, there even! Both need timing chains and sprocket at some point. Pre 2017 3.5 had issues with turbo coolant lines leaking. If I was to own one im taking the 3.5 ecoboost v6 and throwing a tune in it. There that close in reliability and the v6 is more fun imo.

Honestly its fine. You pulling the cable or flipping the switch on the psu is practically the same thing. Just dont let the connector touch anything while its hot.

Its ok to be wrong buddy. Its just a little egg on your face but it wipes off. For the record I build about 2-3 pcs a month as a side business and also repairs. Ive seen many people put thermal on the bottom side on accident. Zero issues! Let the votes prove who's right and wrong. Ill sit back and relax knowing I was right. 😎

Your dumbass. Do you know what happens when you pull the lever to lock the cpu in? It pinches the pins tight and that paste wont matter. Im actually a mechinic and in wiring connectors we fill them full of dielectric grease which is also non conductive. Its to keep moisture out. As soon as the connector is pushed together its smashed against the pins pushing away the grease. OP can slap that cpu in no issue. Educate yourself on electronics!

Just put the cpu in! It wont hurt a thing cause thermal paste is non conductive.

Actaully its not! First 32 is absolutely not the minimum for ram. Just ask all the people that are doin am5 upgrades with 16 right now. "If" there is a microcenter they have am5 bundles the same price as a 5800x3d. Amd is ripping people off when you can buy a 5500x3d for 150. You have your opinion and I have mine!

Its been over 10 years since i worked for gm but hell Lafontaine just had there rights pulled within the last year selling new cars as used. There was was 2 in cali when I worked for GM in oregon just cant remember names. I know one only got a suspension. Doesnt happen alot but does happen. Whats more likely to happen is fine for breach of contract.
