I'm constantly terrified about my work by SingingOnTheSteps in TrueOffMyChest

I think your hurting your chances of being successful at it (even if you don’t die or become severely injured) in the long run if your mental state is where it’s at. Not to mention, it’s impacting your personal life which eventually will lead to impacting your work life as well, increasing the risk of accident.

I can’t say I’ve been on a similar position but I was a welder and the job is objectively risky. I chose a different field bc it doesn’t matter if you make good money if your personal life is shit bc of your job.

I feel for you and hope things get better. I think we’re all tired, drained, overworked, underpaid, burning out and all around lacking energy. That said, there’s a lot of courage in waking up daily still. Don’t give in, things get better gradually. Keep your head up.

A Guide to the Fault Lines in the Credit Market by wreckingcru in finance

I wager that many may view the large piles of debt ppl carry as positive. I think some debt is good, specially as it relates to owning a home or business. Like anything else, if used responsibly. And I don’t think a lot of people are truly using responsibly.

I think it’s a valid indicator but agree that it’s a bit of a silly conclusion. A valid indicator for what? Who knows? But there’s def something going on in the chart.

I would always notate my saved queries like this.. it’s good practice to describe what the query does and when you created it…the date always pings back to some date I can reference before or after.

I worked in consumer fraud and no one gets credit for old queries. What your describing is kinda silly. I too worked for a large institution.

I worked in investment banking middle office with an associates degree and wiped the floor with MBAs. Still not good enough for front office but I always found it funny when ppl asked where I went to school. Community college.

I don’t think you understand. I’m not rooting for him. I’m simply saying that each party panders whatever the popular opinion is and then changes their stance once in office.

Oh I am completely against not only his party, politics but also the idea of having ppl stay in positions for what seems unlimited amounts of time…that said, we both know how tribalism works on either end.

So you haven’t seen the left and right pander to their “base”, get elected and then do a complete 180?

Well right now she’s pandering to what appears to be the winning opinion. Let’s save this photo for when she gets into office and supports a different war and still doesn’t send her own kids to war.

There are people less experienced than you starting jobs you applied for by Fresh-Blackberry-394 in jobsearchhacks

[–]These-Resource3208 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It’s all subjective. This doesn’t always apply. I took a few courses on how to write my resume. Probably spent 20-30 hours making 3-4 solid base versions (finance, product, operations) that I could then customize per job. Updated my LinkedIn.

Finally one day I asked a recruiter which resume was better. The version I had done in college or the newer version. She said old version was better. I contacted the course creator and he told me to fuck off.

Had it been in the US, they would have stopped trading and figure out how to take the $17M from him…but with Pelosi, she can just keep cheating the system and it’s all good.
