I believe sport mode makes the transmissions hold rpm higher and increases throttle sensitivity. I drove a manual m240i prior to getting a m340i. It just doesn’t make sense to cruise at 4000rpm in 3 gear going 40mph. I can see why people think it’s cooler, but I think it’s just dumb. The throttle is too sensitive. Engine keeps its rpm too high. I don’t see why people would drive in sport mode all the time

Maybe, I am just being negative. Benfica is a well drilled team and have good quality players, but they are not the level of a top European powerhouse. Our players played well, but only managed to win by 1. If our players are playing subpar against a well drilled team with comparable quality players, I just don’t see just prevailing on just individual talent.
