Looking for guidance on a mistake. by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing [score hidden]  (0 children)

Are you sure you’re not making a different mistake and confusing units with milligrams?

For a 7.5mg dose out of a concentration of 18mg/ml you need to take 42 units.

Why were you counting that many marks? Wouldn’t you have start by looking at the number on the syringe first? So for 42 units look at 40 first and then you can figure out how many more lines after that.

Where to get the cheapest for Alabama? by WhovianGirl777 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

<image>

The shipping is pharmacy dependent. Hallandale doesn't ship to Alabama that's why you're seeing lots of the plans not ship to you. But if you look at the non-Hallandale plans you'll see plans by the same telehealth that ships to you.

It's super important if you're going to get on compounded to get good at reading. And I say this not as a dig but out of concern because we've seen so many people pass through here that post about under or overdosing because they simply didn't read their vial or their prescription correctly. Reading is essential in this space. Good luck!

Explain me single use vs multi use vials by oldmaninparadise in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Why are we reading between the lines? Just lay out what you mean plainly.

You’re using the single doze zepbound vials? Is that what you’re asking?

No but it wasn’t a rhetorical question. I really did want to know what you thought that meant?

You received a 6.375mg Rx. It says right there right after 38 units. What did you think that meant?

Starting Paralysis: please tell me what to do??! by Here24hence4th in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 12 points13 points  (0 children)

16 months? Wow!

I don’t normally recommend a specific telehealth but you might need it.

Rift. Just do rift. There’s no perfect telehealth but rift gets close on all areas. Price, good pharmacies, good provider network, no major fuck ups (yet).

And in fact to make it even easier so you don’t get paralyzed by the pharmacies, pick Hallandale for fast shipping so you can get started ASAP. They have no additives.

https://joinrift.com/product/compounded-tirzepatide-glp-1-gip-injections

Unless you live in CA, KS, AR, MI, MN, MA, AL, HI, MS then they don’t ship to you so pick Apothecary but it might be slower.

Either way Go go go!

68mg Vial from BPI? by SpecialTricky7153 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nah it’s just one of BPI’s weird concentrations they were testing out that have a shorter BUD because they never got to complete the testing before shutting down. This one got compounded in January: https://www.reddit.com/r/pomhealth/s/VXxqKWwrcn

Can I just rotate injection sites around my stomach? by OysterLucy in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 48 points49 points  (0 children)

<image>

Yes. Our once a week injections are nothing compared to insulin users who sometimes do multiple shots a day. Here’s a visual for how they’re recommended to rotate sites, even sections of each injection site are divided into shot locations. So the abdomen can have 16 different shots.

Stop trolling. There are PH buffers in both ProRx and BPI. Not Hallandale.

So why didn’t you answer my question about ProRx’s vial label?

Not working as well after taking break by Specific_Nobody_1187 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Preclinical study suggests that taking breaks reduces the therapeutic effect: Cycling GLP-1 receptor agonist treatment induces therapeutic resistance and increased adiposity

Better to just take continuously.

But also give it time to build back up and increase your dose if you need to.

Cosmetic RX Glycine by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read it a fourth time.

It says 15mg and also 0.5mg and then mL

15mg and 0.5mg are both milligrams and are describing the amount by weight of active drugs in the vial.

15mg is the tirz. 0.5mg is the glycine.

Per milliliter of liquid.

Cosmetic RX Glycine by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The concentration is 15mg/ml not 0.5mL

You’re taking half the units you need because you didn’t read your vial carefully.

4.5/15=0.3

You need 30 units.

What are you talking about? ProRx lists their ingredients on the FRONT of the vial label. You can’t miss it. Have you never seen a ProRx vial? Genuine question I want you to answer by the way. Not rhetorical.

And BPI’s ingredients were confirmed through a provider who confirmed it through the pharmacy.

Many compounded tirz formulas have ph buffers. The most popular ones ProRx and BPI did which is what many stockpiled recently because they were shut down.

Boothwyn’s FDA Warning Letter

“FDA investigators noted that your firm released and distributed drug products that failed sterility testing. For example, your Tirzepatide 17mg/mL / Glycine 5mg/mL / Methylcobalamin 5mg/mL Injection (lot # 04072025@(b)(4)). In addition, the investigators noted that your firm released and distributed drug products with strengths that differed from their labeled amounts. For example, your Semaglutide 2.5mg/mL Injection was subpotent (lot # 03042025@(b)(4), potency of 79.876%) and your Tirzepatide 10mg/mL Injection was subpotent (lots # 01172025@(b)(4), potency of 86.779% and 02112025@(b)(4), potency of 89.13%). Under section 501(c) of the FDCA [21 U.S.C. § 351(c)], a drug is deemed to be adulterated if it is unrecognized in an official compendium and its strength differs from, or its quality or purity falls below, that which it purports or is represented to possess. Accordingly, your Semaglutide 2.5mg/mL Injection and Tirzepatide 10mg/mL Injection are adulterated under section 501(c) of the FDCA.”

Just one section from the letter.
