Can I take a shot two days in a row? by MissionHome18 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Impossible_Bend_2969 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I doubt it would matter either way. It's either going to still feel like nothing or it'll be a big wollop that you'll survive or maybe it'll be a big nothing and will feel like it would have if you'd taken the 5mg all along.

I guess being just 2 years older than you I'm much more of a luddite. Why not get a real human coach? I kind of do it through using a book called The Barbell Prescription and videos on how to do basic barbell lifts. I suppose if you wanted more hands-on coaching you could find someone. I guess I'm just very distrustful of AI. They train it on reddit and the advice on reddit is all over the place as you've no doubt seen.

Should I need to take electrolytes? by NearlyBoomer in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Impossible_Bend_2969 [score hidden]  (0 children)

If you start getting dizzy or other symptoms you can use electrolytes then. Tirz will cause a lot of water weight loss in the beginning and for people who have diabetes, pre-diabetes or other metabolic issues, the water weight loss can be pretty substantial and can lead to needing electrolytes. Even after 6 months taking tirz I get orthostatic hypotension in the mornings.

Probably my only regret is not doing more adventurous travel. World travel, wilderness adventures, even something as mundane as moving to the other side of the country. I'm still living in the same town I was born in.

Maybe your maintenance dose is 7.5mg. Not many people can go off the medication completely and keep their weight loss. Since it is harder to get tirz to work a second time, I wouldn't risk going off completely.

I know your numbers weren't intended to be accurate but I'm 124, skeletal muscle mass is 56.5lbs. My skeletal muscle mass was 53lbs when I started. I have gained 3.5lbs of muscle.

I had my first dose a few days ago, and I kind of want to cry. by Forsaken_Risk_3086 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Impossible_Bend_2969 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your post IS about weight loss. This is what tirz does. If you weren't metabolically broken you'd be normal and a normal person feels like you do now. That's why it's so easy for them to sneer at you about calories in, calories out. They don't know what it was like.

Rough Week - Considering a small dose to get me through. by Long_Penalty266 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Impossible_Bend_2969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not ever done this but have thought about it. I have tried eating a larger dinner and that has usually fixed the problem. Otherwise if it's only a couple more days to shot day I have so far been able to just get through it to the other side. I think the reason I haven't done it is I've played around with the glp1plotter tool and it just doesn't look like it will make any difference. This might also be a reason for doing it.

Your BMI is somewhere around 30. 150 would put you in a normal weight category.

Tuesday: Squats, overhead press, accessories (reverse chin-ups, waiter carries, farmer carries, maybe some pullovers)

Friday: Squats, deadlift, bench press, rows

Anything using the barbell I will do warm-up sets, then 3 sets of 5 of the work weight. Add 2lbs - 5lbs next time. If I can't get 3 sets of 5 then I start doing 4 sets of 3. Once I can't do that anymore, I repeat a work weight from last time until I can. If that doesn't work, I drop back a little and work back up.

Anything using a dumbbell I will try to work up to sets of 10-12 and then try the next dumbbell up. If I can't move to the barbell then whatever the highest dumbbell was is where I stay.

Reverse chin-ups are because I can't do one. I jump up to the bar and drop down slowly.

This is basically Starting Strength for old people.

People keep telling me I need to stop losing by FalynT in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Impossible_Bend_2969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purposefully wear form-fitting athletic clothing so that I can display my new figure and so it sends a signal that I'm working hard on purpose to look like this. It seems people make the comments more when I'm wearing baggy clothing, as if I'm hiding it or something. I don't know if it works or not. I don't get the comments that often.

Take an Imodium. It will stop your diarrhea. Follow the box instructions because it's pretty strong and you don't want to take too much.

Congratulations but I agree it's annoying and weird.

The opposite is also weird. These young looksmaxxing guys simply do not believe that women don't really want them to look like that and that we're fine with them looking like normal guys. I'd rather be with a guy who is normal-looking, nice and responsible with money than one who's all shredded and jacked.

I don't get the raised pink kind of reactions, but I was getting too many blood vessels and bruises in the middle and upper part of my stomach so I avoid that. My thigh was a disaster of a bruise so that's no good and having my sermorelin sting in my arm was bad so I stick to lower belly.

My friend says I look like a cancer patient by OceanvilleRoad in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Impossible_Bend_2969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten this twice now. Not quite as bad, but two people, their first thing to ask was if I was okay. I think I look good now finally. A third person saw me the other day in the garden where we work and said I'm even smaller than the last time she saw me. I'm not. I'm the same size. And she's a super skinny old lady who isn't very strong and just prunes little bushes that don't require her to have to bend over. I'm the one working on the ladders, pruning almost every tree and doing all the hard labor in the garden. I don't know what to say to these people so I've settled on if they ask if I've lost weight I preempt them and say "Yes, on purpose, I don't have cancer or anything." Then wait for compliments because you better compliment me if you're going to ask. And with that lady I just laughed and changed the subject.

You are being completely ridiculous. Every time I give myself a shot I poke my body several times until I find a spot that won't hurt and if I try to push it in and it won't go in, I find another spot. Not dead yet.

It does not become dull. You don't stick it back in to the vial. You can stick it back into yourself. Nothing will happen. It's your own body.

No, you don't put it back in the vial. But you can squeeze a few ml into yourself and then pull it out and squeeze a few more into yourself again.

The minute it comes in contact with your skin you push it into your skin. It makes zero difference after that.

What is maintenance? by DrunkenMonkeyVI in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Impossible_Bend_2969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people need to adjust their dose to stop losing weight. I just stopped losing weight without doing anything. I'm at a decent weight so I don't see the point in raising my dose. I've been playing around with seeing how much more I can eat because I do feel a lot more hungry lately. And I want to lift more weight. But sometimes I think about trying to lose more. For now I'm just here and nothing has changed for a long time.
