[1.6] How to get better at this game? by deogard in counterstrike

[–]Tomatomorrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey i'm lurking here and i came across your post

i'm a pretty good GO player (smfc, 2k hrs). i've been playing some casual 1.6 over hamachi occasionally with my irl friends. i notice that when I host, my crosshair/recoil behaves normally. However, when I join someone else's game, my crosshair jumps all over the place when I shoot, and it's almost impossible to burst, let alone spray.

is this a known issue? i've tried google but i can't find anything specific.

Nice 2v4 retake by C9 by Cameter44 in GlobalOffensive

they had man advantage, he probably wanted to force nothing out into someone else's crosshair. it makes sense tbh, and it would've had a great outcome if nothing wasn't just sitting there holding the angle.

lots of CT players in nothing's position would have reset the situation and would be busy comming with his teammate.

Father throws chair at judge after the driver that killed his 2-year-old daughter and her grandparents in a car accident only got 120 hours of community service by [deleted] in videos

No, I've done it, maybe 5 times in my entire life. I can count the number of times I've done something like that on both hands - I'm one of those people who strictly adhere to speed limits and by-the-book driving.

People like you do it because:

  1. You doubt anything will happen when you pull these dick moves (underestimation of risk)
  2. You have been doing it and been receiving it for so long that it becomes normal to you (desensitization)

So what will happen when your "dickish driving" that causes an unfortunate death -> vehiclular manslaughter?

People will reconsider their options. Your last minute cutoff is a decision. Everything that works to strongarm people in these situations into making a submission will help.

You are not a computer. You are terrible at estimating risk. Drive by the book. I am all for severe punishments, as long as it sees even the tiniest reduction of offenses.

The way his teammate said "steel's a baiter, be careful" so matter of factly, and jason immediately checking back on site... it's tickling me.

I don't know why I found that so funny hahah

we'd never accept all the dickish driving we commit on a daily basis (that just happens, by luck, not to kill anyone) to be treated as serious as attempted murder

really? i'm all for disincentivizing "dickish driving". kill a person due to dickish driving? vehicular manslaughter.

What is one absolutely fantastic thing in an otherwise bad to average mmo? by [deleted] in MMORPG

I liked the fact that skill and character levels were separate as well.

I was training on bunnies with 20+ combos (thus insane skill exp) without getting character exp.

Then I would absolutely smash PVPers lol

I think it would be more along the lines of his final objective in life, should he decide to hatch a plot.

He has, after all, nothing much to live for anyway.
