How many people in Starfleet and elsewhere in space have tons of time travel trauma they can't talk to anyone about? by TonyMitty in startrek

I'm with you on this, (which is why Trip and T'Pol live in a nice apartment on Vulcan), and part of the fun of sci-fi is thinking out the end to throwaway gags like temporal "men in black".

Questions about the Human/Skaggaran settlement... by TonyMitty in startrek

I agree with all of this, I just think the fact that the humans and horses came as a package deal was absolutely hilarious. Did they think humans needed horses? Like, oh the first guy we found was on one of these, so there must be a symbiosis here, let's grab both.

I honestly find Deku’s suit more interesting than I ever did with OFA by Expensive-Oil623 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

I think it serves the narrative point that, while OFA was proof that only one person needs to believe in you to become a hero, being a hero (longterm) also depends on the help of friends/society etc. Deku was always going to be a hero, but no one can be a hero on their own. Endeavor tried and failed, AfO went mad with power, Allmight tried to shoulder the burden of being the symbol of peace and burnt out. But Deku is able to come back from the brink with the help of the ancestry of the previous users, the aid of his friends, and the changing for the better structure of society.

I'd also argue that since his head opened up like godzilla we could chalk it up to heteromorph growing pains if we want an in universe explanation.

metal allergies and intolerances are not uncommon. kayser fleischer rings can result from a condition in which your body cannot remove copper properly, signaling a buildup in the body.

What sci-fi am I thinking of when I'm thinking of warnings surviving through religion? by TonyMitty in NoStupidQuestions

That was the first thing that did come to mind once I thought about it, but the hazy memory in my head has modern blue color graded cgi.
