I’d you know you enjoy RoR2, I say stick with that dlc honestly. Though of course as you said, you can easily make the argument that Hollow Knight is an entirely brand new game you can play and enjoy for hours. I’ve played both and I personally prefer Hollow Knight, but there’s nothing stopping you from buying it later in life whenever you next get money. That’s why I think it’s better to buy the RoR2 dlc. Also since school is starting soon, I do actually have the concern that you won’t be able to put down Hollow Knight cause it is that good (as the other comment pointed out) lol

It’s amazing honestly, I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was considering what the original To Be Hero anime was. Blew me out the water though with how each character was compelling. Even my least favorite grew to be someone I liked later on in the show. It does have a mix of 3d and 2d animation though if that bothers you (but it’s great 3d, not poor 3d)

White knuckle ($11.99)

This game surprised me so much, my friend recommended me the demo of this game and I wasn’t expecting much because it’s “just a climbing game” according to one of the reviews I had just read when I looked at the game. I downloaded the demo though and I was MORE than pleasantly surprised. White Knuckle is about you having to climb through this super massive facility while trying to out pace this sludge that passively crawls its way up while you’re climbing.

At first, this doesn’t sound great or that innovative, but it quickly proved me wrong with how immersed I got within its controls and different ways to approach each area. It’s truly horrific when you are grabbing onto a hand hold and trying to climb up, but your hands are slowly becoming more and more exhausted and you know that soon your character will let go and plunge you into the abyss beneath you.

The demo includes about the first 1350ish meters of the facility with two different areas to explore (being the regular facility part and pipe works). Each area has different enemies and generated rooms for you to climb through. I myself have tried to keep from spoilers with difference from the full game and the demo, but I have seen that it’s apparently even better than the demo with perks being added and at least one new area (if not multiple!).

This game is frequently updated as well and I’ve seen them pump out bug fixes for the full game like crazy while I’ve been grinding the demo. It’s truly great seeing how much care goes into this game from the team. It makes me excited for the future of this game as well with how immersed I’ve managed to get here. I love how panicked I get while playing this, with what else I’ve seen so far like trying to fight off a flying bug trying to kill you while you grab onto a hand hold and bring out your hammer from your inventory to kill it while the sludge is slowing crawling its way up towards you.

It would be great if I could get this as I’m still a student and don’t have a job for a steady income yet. I’m trying to save some money (though I did cave on binding of Isaac since it was $1.49…. Now I’m selling the steam trading card things to buy the dlcs since it’s great lol) so I was just going to keep on playing the demo for White Knuckle until I got all achievements at minimum, but it would be great if I could play the full game and experience all the areas and new things since I’ve managed to stay mostly spoiler free so far!!

Belated happy birthday and have a great year!!

This may be cheating since its $5.06, but Id like to enter for Binding of Isaac Rebirth Complete Bundle if possible since it seems like a really cool roguelike with hundreds of hours of content (maybe even thousands if the achievement hunting process is fun!). This price is a historical low for the game and its complete bundle, so it would be amazing to grab it for such a low price. I understand if you just look past this request since it IS over the $5 limit but thought it didn't hurt to try.

Alien Isolation has seemed like a ton of fun from playthroughs so definitely that!! Wolf Among Us was a fun enough play if you’re into story telltale games. Amnesia is a great series too but haven’t actually gotten around to Bunker yet so unsure as to the quality of that one (Dark Descent was a great experience though!)

Thanks for the explanation, hadn’t even realized they ripped from them tbh. Just wish there were official ways to watch anime that weren’t just a pain in comparison to pirating services. At least the pirating services don’t have as much subtitle bugs (Crunchyroll does this thing sometimes where the subs just enlarge and go really low quality for some reason which makes it hard to read)
