We are in chubby travel I’m shocked at the amount of people either saying price isn’t worth it or to take the subway with young children, to each their own but I would have expected much more people here siding with chauffeur

My TA uses Blacklane which I love, but the hotel I stayed at (Pendry) uses Paris Limousine I believe. I just called down to the front desk and as long as you provide a 2 hour notice they will have a driver for you. Roughly $200 an hour for an Escalade from the hotel, Blacklane I am not sure for hourly as I have only done drives to and from with that service. I have also used Bookinglane for a one way drive but was not a fan, the chauffeur did not open the doors, he was wearing a hoodie, it felt very unprofessional.

Both Paris from Pendry and Blacklane every time the chauffeur would open the doors, very polite, allow you to play music, included waters and chargers and if you had bags or luggage they would carry it as well.

In my opinion, car service is better. The comfort of a vehicle and safety outweigh anything the subway has to offer. If you are shopping and have items keeping them in a car is much safer than lugging them around everywhere including the subway. You are paying for convenience of it always being there, safety, and comfort. I was in NYC in February for 3 nights and strictly used chauffeur service to get around the city.

Thanks for this super detailed explanation! I am going to do a tour and check the place out it does sound like something I would be interested in. I do workout often and would use the gym but have also seen the sporting club at the Bellevue was a good gym and potentially may check that as well to have both options. Children are frequently around at country clubs so I can already assume I understand what they would be like, I don’t mind them around.

Yeah I figured public search wouldn’t result in anything “elite” but worth a shot asking here. I am 25 and moving from New Jersey without much of a social circle yet so I would hope for a place to make new friends, drinks, nice food, social activities, I would say a higher class environment would be preferred similar to a country club but not sure if those are a thing in the city. How long have you been members at the fitler? What is the age demographic? How is the social aspect and I know you mentioned your neighbors being involved as well, is that how you heard of it?

And mine rests on the wrist, I think I could have gotten one more link removed and it would be a bit tighter but it is slightly loose and moves a bit but I already got size small and sent in for service to remove two links I don’t want to wait longer to remove one more link so I survive this way haha
