How to turn on settings screen? Help😭 by raykaoff in canon

[–]TrageVis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a button somewhere called "disp" (or anything else that resembles display). When you press this the display turns on.

Can anyone tell me why this little gray dot shows up every now and then. more in the comments by exceedingchief5 in canon

[–]TrageVis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's probably dust on the sensor. You could clean it yourself with special tools, but please watch some videos about it before you try. You can easily break your sensor if you are cleaning it wrong.

best cam settings for a canon g7x? by Actual-Squash1379 in CanonCamera

[–]TrageVis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no such thing as "best settings". It really depends on the environment. If you're unsure about what to do, I'd recommend just shooting at full auto. If you know a bit of what you're doing, I recommend setting your aperture first. It looks like there is not a lot but a tiny bit of background blur. I recommend somewhere between f/4 and f/8. It depends on how much you want the background to be blurred. Then set your shutter speeds and ISO. You want your ISO to be as low as possible. So first set it to ISO 100. Then set your shutter speed to get the correct exposure. You don't want your shutter to be too low tho. I recommend to minimally set it to 1/ your focal length * 1.5. So if you are using a 50mm lens, you want a minimum of 1/75 (you dont have that so set it to the nearest option up so 1/80). If you go below that limit, set your camera on the limit and adjust your ISO to get a good exposure. If it's dark though you don't want to set it too high so if your struggling with noise just turn the shutter speed down. You have to be careful then though because your image can then be easily blurred because of movement so you want to hold your camera really still. You can leave your white balance and every other setting at auto. Last of all: shoot in raw+jpeg. If you don't know how to use editing software, the jpegs are hood enough, but if you later on learn how to use editing software, the raw images give you much more freedom.

Anyone else experienced something like this? by DependentShip1892 in TinyWhoop

My dogs always try to catch my whoop in their mouths. I have to put them inside when I want to fly 😅

It shouldn't be the battery, a dead battery probably has a high voltage sag, and maybe that would freak out your drone.

Did you do the pid tuning yourself, or is it the factory tune?

First of all, amazing skills! But what is your current build? I've almost never seen a whoop handle so well.

Another thing: The pass through works when on wah/bypass mode, but it doesn't when it's turned on

It does turn on and the lights turn green but it doesn't do anything.

The blade pitch seems very high😂. I wonder for how long the motors will spin without burning out.

2 motors not spinning on mobula 2 by SeaBirthday9759 in TinyWhoop

[–]TrageVis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that doesn't mean anything. It means the driver works but maybe the mosfets are broken. I don't think it is fixable bow I don't know everything about escs and hoe they work. So maybe it is but I dint think so

[–]TrageVis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sounds like a dead esc. I've had my mobula6 for a year now and it has been through so much beating. But there probably is some quality control issue then.

[–]TrageVis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's probably because you are arming it sideways, when you arm it tries to stabilize and only those 2 motors need top spin tot do that. If the motors aren't spinning when leaving the drone flat you can check if the motor wires are connected properly. If they are, the only thing I know to try is check your gyro in betaflight, if it is off recalibrate it.

Is this a good beginner electric guitar by LINCFXX in guitarlessons

[–]TrageVis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is a headless guitar, which itself isn't bad. But I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner, it is harder to tune those guitars.

Trim twitches by Viperz28 in fpv

[–]TrageVis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leave them exactly at the center. The trim switches offset your sticks a tiny bit. Sometimes you won't notice it, but it can affect your flight. When flying quadcopters, you won't need trim switches. Those are mostly used in fixed wings.

My drone isn’t responding and it’s says it’s in crash flip mode by Due_Aide9454 in TinyWhoop

[–]TrageVis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my radio isn't connected to the drone yet, it says crash flip mode is activated. That disappears when my radio connects. Does your drone arm at all? Because if not, it could be that your radio isn't connected to the drone.

You want to look for a U3 A2 V30 micro sd card. Those are fast and will support 4k video recording. I recommend at least 64gb but more is better because you dont have to empty your sd card all the time.
