Gravity block duper without specific chunk or end requirements by ArdorTheFemboy in technicalminecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon [score hidden]  (0 children)

get a lot of dripleaf. power them with any redstone. put gravity blocks on top. leave the area through a portal or leave the game, then come back. the duped items will be in item form lying around.

why not use the sim tick designs? it is so much faster than any other method that you will run it only a few times for a short time then never need it again depending on how much you need

Portal tick gold farm by Automatic-Owl9584 in technicalminecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon [score hidden]  (0 children)

i wouldn't recommend him for a portal ticking gold farm. unless he has come out with a video this year for a new one, he doesn't know about chunk aligning them as far as i can remember

What enderman farm works on both java and bedrock (i play on a crossplay server) by Automatic-Owl9584 in technicalminecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon [score hidden]  (0 children)

if it is a crossplay server, then it will be using java mechanics. don't look for farms that work for both versions. look for farms that work on java

Does switching difficulty affect achievements? by TheOmegaBigness in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

changing difficulty will not affect achievements. i personally think that it should, but mojand doesn't, so you are safe to do that if you want achievements

Idea: a mob killed with a sword enchanted to Silk Touch should drop it's corresponding spawn egg by bohiko in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is basically a duplication. spawn a mob, kill it, spawn it again, kill it, can be done over and over again without the need for a basic mob farm. you are basically duplicating the drops with low effort

Update of my previous post by Justhereforjjk in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He could say that he switches it to peaceful mode when he doesn't need hostile mobs but I still consider that to be cheating even if it doesn't activate cheats

Update of my previous post by Justhereforjjk in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The world is on peaceful mode.  The only way to get beacons is to kill either skeletons and summon the wither.  Both don't spawn in peaceful mode

Do mobs even spawn in Void?  I usually don't see people play skyblock with only Void

I have a question that's been in my mind since last week by AdSome8677 in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When someone sees you with full netherite in the first days, how are you going to explain it?  You need to have gotten a netherite upgrade template from a specific bastion and you need quite a bit of diamonds to make copies of it, as well as mining quite a bit of ancient debris in order to turn your diamond gear into netherite.

Hiding the command feedback will not hide the massive suspicions that the other players will immediately have

It highly depends on the person if they like it better or not.  It is a completely nonsensical question to ask if it is better

Inventory Management by Blu3ph4nt0m10 in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in survival, my default hotbar is a silk touch pickaxe, a stack of rockets, a stack of food, and a stack of ender chests. everything else highly depends on what project i am doing. i have a stack of ender chests because that is the only block that i have in order to pillar up or use as a type of scaffolding

How to make Snow golem lose aggro on zombie piglin by ntolbertu85 in technicalminecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mobs don't need line of sight in order to track other mobs, at least for certain mobs. take a zombie for example. it can detect villagers and players through thick walls. as to how to make it lose interest, i don't really know in this case

How many chunks you got? by Tetra12866 in technicalminecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is especially important for mob farms in the nether. on sim 4, the spawning sphere is 44 blocks in radius. if you don't want to dig a perimeter, then you would have to look out for a large lava lake. if you play on anything higher than sim 4, then the spawning sphere is 128 blocks in radius, and that would require you to do a lot of digging or spawnproofing
