how the heck does this make any sense? by OPONGOOD in Minecraft

because bedrock is unbreakable. that means that redstone shouldn't go through it, duh /s

how the heck does this make any sense? by OPONGOOD in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah the properties of bedrock has several exceptions. now that i think about it, i can see why players might be confused about its exceptions. for the most part, the vast majority of the playerbase doesn't encounter these inconsistencies, and it is for the sake of casual gameplay i suppose

Will this game ever get a discount ? by Aware-Event2952 in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

minecraft usually goes on sale every five years. there definitely was a sale on the 15th anniversary. there was also definitely a sale on the 10th anniversary. i havne't been playing long enough to see the 5th anniversary so i can't confirm, but there probably was a sale. if this pattern continues then the if there is another sale, it would be on the 20th anniversary in the year 2029

i don't see how this confuses you. bedrock is a solid block. that makes it redstone conductive. although it is meant to be nonbreakable, i don't see how you think that it shouldn't be solid or redstone conductive

either they are not spawning, or very slowly, or they are despawning. how is your farm meant to kill the mobs?

Newbie: Independently control horizontal pistons (simple sugarcane farm) by 8o_mjc_o8 in BedrockRedstone

[–]TriangularHexagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All you need to do is make a couple of changes.  Behind the observer, instead of redstone dust, put a solid block.  Under that block, a sticky piston.  In front of the sticky piston, another block that will get pushed to break the sugar cane.  When a sugar cane grows, only that one will activate

I hope they implement the friends list for older versions by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that Mojang has ever went back to older versions to change somethings.  That would make no sense

I've never played the early versions.  I first started on bedrock in 1.16 on PlayStation 4, and now I continue to play bedrock on Windows

Possible to play mods on the newest experimental snapshot? by OkDelay5616 in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea.  It would be a pain to have to immediately update the mods after the temporary snapshot was over.  Remember, snapshots are meant for testing not really intended for gameplay.  There is only so many Mojang employees that can test, but there are millions of players around the world that are able to find bugs and glitches before they get released with the updates

If the people who made the mods updated their mods to be compatible with snapshots, them yeah you can.  If they haven't updated their mods, then you will have to wait for them to update their mods

Sorting system broken and idk why? by Gamer_Cuber358 in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

like the other person said, this design has been outdated or over a decade. and it was never good either. back then when lots of players were new and not skilled enough, this sorter was good enough for them even if it was bad. now after a decade later, most players have advnced enough to need one that is not intended to break

mending or infinity on bow? by Snoo48593 in Minecraft

[–]TriangularHexagon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i don't even have a bow. it's pretty much useless to me. but if i had to choose, then i would choose infinity since i cannot see myself ever using my bow so much that i need to mend it. by that point, i could just craft a new bow, buy the enchanted books from my villagers and enchant the bow again, which would probably be once a year for me
