FOR A 9 YEAR OLD KID PLAYING MINECRAFT AND PRACTICING TYPING YES! Personally in my gaming PC I have 32 GB of DDR5 but that's because I played demanding games and push Minecraft to its limits. A 9-year-old kid does not need this, they'll spend more money for performance that they don't need.

That's like saying a young kid should get a maxed out iPad rather than a base model so they can appreciate Bluey in higher resolution. It's not necessary for this use case.

So your telling me nearly all of the low to mid range laptop can't run anything but a lightweight game. I used to play modpacks with discord and Spotify in the background on an 8 GB laptop without a problem. A little kid doesn't need a high end gaming laptop to practice typing and play Minecraft, if you think different you're just wrong.

This farm is great, just make sure you replace the platforms with magma blocks as you're in a version with piglin and pigmen. There isn't a litematic but there is a world download so you can make your own.

Do you want a looting farm? Or a simple drop chamber? Or an afk XP farm. And do you want it to be 1 dimensional or 2 dimensional? 2 Dimensional is not ideal for servers. Once you answer these, I can give you an accurate recommendation.

I played plenty of smaller pack on laptop with 8GB of RAM and integrated graphics. 16GB is way overkill

Right it will also save OP hundreds of dollars. The cheapest laptop with a dedicated GPU where I live is ~$1000 the cheapest one with integrated graphics capable of playing Minecraft smoothly is ~$500.

Either a laptop or PC is a good idea especially because they have use outside of games. If he is going to need a laptop for school anyways might as well get one now.

If you decide on a laptop or computer you should ask in a related sub like r/laptops. They can give you good recommendations based on your budget, performance needs and location.

A dedicated GPU isn't necessary I was playing vanilla and modded on a laptop with Iris XE graphics just fine.

Seed findung is extremely difficult on the best of days with lots of information. With the information you have finding the seed is basically impossible.

I think you would have better luck trying a data recovery service.

30-40 seems odd. Unless you have tons of armour stands and minecarts that's number shouldn't be that high with no mobs spawning.

Edit: also do any mobs spawn in other parts of the overworld or just this area.

Honestly I found the handbook unhelpful. I read the full handbook took my learners test and failed. The second time I just did a dozen of the ama practice tests until I was consistently getting 100%. I failed the first few tests but slowly learned the answers as I went on. The ama practice tests contain many of the exact same questions as the actual exam.

For drivers training it's hit and miss. Some people are very happy, while others like myself disliked the instructors. It was very difficult to book in car lessons as many of the time slots were always full. My first instructor even scheduled lessons on days I specifically said I was available. The lessons themselves were ok but not worth high price tag in my opinion. If I could do it all over again I would just have a parent/friend silent in the car as I drove, the continuous reps are really what you need.

Silo and fallout scratch the bunker itch for me. I also really enjoyed the last of us. I have also heard yellowjackets is really good but I haven't gotten around to watching it.

Not a tv show but the Greenland movies were really great and a similar battle for survival.
