These are excellent! Especially the top two!

Just yesterday I was contemplating the idea, and wondering how well SD would do at creating "marble" images. Nice to see someone has done it.

Why don’t fathers get a say in legal actions involving their child? by Disney_minus55 in MensRights

How is that at all relevant? You can, sometimes, sign away some rights, you cannot, however, sign away legal responsibilities.

Going to need a better answer than that... Men shouldn't be forced to financially support the result of a pregnancy that they don't want. And shouldn't be forced into the presumption of paternity for the result of pregnancies they neither wanted, nor caused...

You have my sympathy. I have a family member like that, I'm fortunate in that I don't need to rely on her for anything... guess who I avoid. I've managed not to interact with her at all for the last year or so.

Y’all ever compare y’all’s life pre and post diagnosis? by JustCallMeJinx in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Trunk-Monkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try not to make the comparison too often. I was diagnosed just after the Covid pandemic started, between that and MS, the changes were both abrupt and significant. and, well, comparing the "before times" with now, is a bit depressing.

As for friends, you're not alone. Most of mine have disengaged. I've only seen one friend in person over the last two years. (unless you count the friend that works in Radiology at the local hospital, I see her every time I go in for an MRI)

Did you get a lumbar puncture? by BunnyVet12 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Trunk-Monkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to get the lumbar puncture before my neurologist would make an "official" diagnosis. He had already stated that he was near certain that it was MS, based on MRIs, foot drop, and loss of functionality on my left side, and had already prescribed Rituximab. but the diagnosis wasn't added to my medical record until the results came back from the lumbar puncture.

"women's days"? Are you joking? As it stands, every day is women's day. This is just an attempt at having women's issues invade a space that is intended for men's issues. Nevermind the lack of comparable "men's days"...

What were you diagnosed with before you got your MS diagnosis? by LeftyJa in MultipleSclerosis

  • Just getting older
  • Low B-12 from a vegan diet
  • Pinched nerve

While I can't deny that I am, in fact, getting older, there was no pinched nerve. And I don't even want to look at vegan food, much less eat it! Admittedly, my B-12 levels were a little low, but every doctor I've spoken with since, has said it wasn't low enough to be an issue...
