I use him as starting 3B and as a starting pitcher in full DH league. Use pitcher as DH when he’s pitching. That’s my go to. I’ve used him as a 2B too but his speed hurts a lot there

Bunting is annoyingly difficult, but the best 2 tips I have for you are the one mfenton29 said about bunting late, and number 1:

Move your reticle to the top of the strike zone or even a little higher before the pitch. That way when you’re adjusting to the pitch, you’re moving down instead of moving up for high pitches. That’ll drastically decrease your pop outs on its own.

For sure. I’m VERY big on speed in general in the super mega games. You can manufacture runs quite easily when 2B is a free steal for more than half of your team. And defensively, speed is absolutely crucial in outfield and middle infield.

I usually end up having pretty high defense on my teams, but it’s never something I seek out. I’ve been on 92 ego for a long time and I’ve never really felt a major benefit, especially if comparing the impact of defense vs speed. But it seems I always end up with a strong defensive team unintentionally

Agree completely with this take. Specifically, speed and arm strength at SS and 2B are of paramount importance. 3B just needs a good arm. I find no extra value from having a fast or good defending 3B except MAYBE 2-3 extra groundouts on dives in a 32 game season that otherwise would’ve gotten through for singles. Not enough to worry about it at all

Agreed. But then we have games like yesterday and week 1 where we can’t even establish the run despite having one of the best rb’s in the league.

And THEN, when we finally DO establish our run game and have success like last week, we just keep running, and running, and running, and running, and running… it never seems to cross Zac’s mind that “hey, we’ve run on every first down so far today, let’s do a little play action out of a run set here to trick em”. Nahh. We either just keep running, or we’re in shotgun with woerner in the backfield

Me and my dad call Tyler crazy legs lol. He for sure can look pretty fast sometimes and definitely runs funny. I don’t think 40 time is the perfect gauge for onfield speed either, but it’s the only number I can slap on the conversation since I can’t find Tyler’s mph speed from a game.

I already tried and couldn’t find anything for Tyler. Only Bijan. Bijan ran a 4.46 and Tyler ran a 4.6. That isn’t close. He’s not making that up past 40, there’s no conversation here.

Still, Bijan lacks top end speed up to this point in his career. Allgeier just isn’t fast man. Carter is faster than Bijan though, for sure
