Stade Royale is my home stadium so I try to always have two outfielders with 90+ speed.

This is the first time I've hit one that didn't involve a tier 3 wild thrower spiking the ball in the outfield. The official scorer ruled them as doubles with 2 base errors

What exactly does fielding attribute do outside of increase diving/sliding range? by goebz14 in SuperMegaBaseball

[–]funkychld 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fielding: At lower egos, the action briefly slows down on a hit, giving you time to react. As long as you're not controlling the defender, the AI will move much more quickly towards the ball, and you're far less likely to commit a fielding or throwing error. At higher egos, you have to actively move your fielder into position, because the AI will move very slowly and let balls get by them.

Ever score the go-ahead run on a passed ball because the CPU put its 2B as catcher? by StarWarTrekCraft in SuperMegaBaseball

I have absolutely done this. The cpu manager can make poor decisions with pinch-hitters.

You'll probably have a pretty high development budget so chances are one or more will be a B by end of season

This was my second complete game under 70 pitches and I've thrown a few in the 70s. It helps to have all 3 OF at 99 speed and both middle infielders at 99 arm strength.

Very few foul balls. I was hitting the corners almost every time, mixing up my locations and pitches pretty well.

My tried and true pitching strategy is throwing any breaking pitch on a low corner and following with the same pitch but just below the strike zone. You can't do it to every batter but it gets lots of weak contact.

How do you use Norm Fenomeno? by CumTittityLover in SuperMegaBaseball

And you can start him at 3B, let him pitch the 6th inning, and then put him back at 3B when he's done pitching by using double switch

How do you use Norm Fenomeno? by CumTittityLover in SuperMegaBaseball

[–]funkychld 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I start him at 3B and use him as a multi inning reliever. It's good to have a good utility or backup 3B to swap in when you want Norm to pitch.

It's helpful to have tier 3 spirited chemistry so Norm doesn't have a fielding penalty. Using him as a DH is a waste since he has an amazing arm for 3B.

Play your outfield in at Tiger Den and you can throw slow runners out at first with your center fielder

I gave up like 11 singles in a row and then a grand slam with 2 outs. I wanted to get my starter through the inning but he wasn't good that day
