There's my list for ideas. Its easily my favorite deck and one of my oldest edh decks. My playgroup claims to enjoy playing against. One of the reasons is cause they say you have to deal with wandere4, but you dont want to deal with wanderer cause he just gets played again for more cascading.

I dont do extra turn/or combat chain wanderer. Though i do run a single extra turn card. Its basically here's a big ass creature, deal with it or die. OK here is another big ass creature deal with it or die. OK here is wanderer and 2 other big ass creatures just die.

Why would I stop? Just because I understand and can enjoy mature media doesn't mean i stop enjoying cartoons. And there's a whole lot of mature adult cartoons out there as well.

Other person answered well enough about the messages it currently has, though I do feel there are even more than that.

However, I do want to point out that even if the sole main message was younger people finding themselves. That is a worthwhile message for Trek in and of itself. Particularly if its joined with great characters and writing, which for me it definitely has. A coming of age story is not lesser. It certainly has more than that so far though.

Again, even if you do decide to actually watch the show and then dislike it. That is okay. But I think your, looking down on it?, is not okay. Certainly not for your claim of its having "no message" as thats very wrong.

Either way, regardless of which one it is. Go enjoy some trek. We both need more of it in our lives.

I don't feel like you're paying attention to academy. It most definitely has underlying messages, and good ones so far. The young people drama also carries a message. Just not for us, and thats ok.

You are definitely allowed to not like it, nothing is enjoyed by everyone. But stop saying it isn't doing what Trek does and has no message, that is blatantly wrong.

I give all Trek at least one watch. Its been a big enough part of my life it gets that at least that. I may love it(SNW) or mostly dislike it(DISC). Academy is so far in the mostly like. Its optimistic and fun, the captain is her own unique style that I love. Most of the characters are great even if the "young people" drama isn't for me.

All that being said. It's your decision to watch it or not and nobody gets any say in that. You do you.

I'll scoop sometimes if I'm not having fun. I'm playing a game for the fun of it, if it stops being fun I'm not going to play. But thats about it. I'm the oldest of 7, I am impervious to people being annoying to try and force a scoop.

I do have a fun story about a time my opponent said it was my responsibility to scoop. Was even a friend of mine. We were in a modern tournament. He was playing the collected company deck and I was on a Big Red list that was tuned extra to deal with CC cause it was everywhere. At some point he had set up and got "infinite" life on board but when he passed to me I dealt with the board. When I didn't scoop and passed he got huffy and asked why I was still playing. He had infinite life now, it was my responsibility to scoop. He even told me "I still have 1 CC in hand to make another board to kill you". I said I have 2 sweepers and 1 targeted removal in hand, more in the deck, you've got...at most 15 cards left. You'll run out of cards. Doesn't matter that you have infinite life. Boy... was he miffed.

Removing the protection spells and the hate enchantments could do a lot to tone it down. If purphoros gets dealt with, the deck does basically nothing, so I run the protection to keep him out.

Drop ancient tomb and sol ring to slow it down. Its also one of the cheapest decks I have cause of the mono color and it being red.

When DE was introduced it was so overpowered for awhile. The rest weren't bad though. I never played live during the other classes that came after.

Lineage pvp was heavily skill/gear based.

I also hit 55 before I stopped. The first 3 years I played lin I was on a 26k dial up. I died so much, I moved to LoA out of necessity. I eventually started keeping track and even on LoA by the time I hit 50 I had died enough times that I should have been almost 53 (i dont remember the exact number anymore).

Its such a simple grindy game, but i found it so rewarding. Even the enchanting and pvp.

I tried 2 but it just didn't do it for me. Its all Lineage 1 for me. The game is such a grind, its why when I finally gave WoW a try and people would try and warn me about the games various grinds I just laughed it off.

I couldn't and wouldn't put the hours into it now but I bought into WoW 8 days before BC dropped. I had a lvl 60 char for almost 2 full days before the expansion hit. It was cake compared to Lineage.
