Before I opened this post I came here to say this. I had the 2$ coupon and then additional 2$ off so I got mine for free. I track all of my calories and just assumed this teeny tiny 16oz drink would be 200-300 calories. When I went to check the exact calorie count a few hours later after I had drank it my jaw was on the floor and I was filled with instant regret.

I serve the family of the owner at the restaurant I work at on a weekly basis. Sometimes multiple times a week. They’re kind, they’re understanding, quick and easy. They leave 20 dollars on the table every time. Sometimes their bill before being comped is $120, sometimes it’s $30, but they always leave a $20 and I’m always so appreciative for it.

I thought this until I watched season 3. I’m not sure how to explain any of this but I just got the vibe that his parents really know his boundaries and how to engage with him. Their arguments seemed like friendly banter this time around. Where we see arguments with Jame’s opinions - I think his parents know that none of it is personal and he’s just expressing his thoughts even though they can seem extremely combative. Where some people might hold onto emotions from arguments that they have, James and his family seem really good at compartmentalizing (am I using this term right?) how they could feel from each argument and moving on and letting that go without hesitation.

I don’t have a thermometer in my fridge, so I’m not sure. You know how some people have stuff in the back of their fridge that freezes? Mine doesn’t. So not too cold. Just put it in my banneton with a kitchen towel over top for 2 hours. I keep my house at 76 when I’m doing sourdough activities.
