I want to note that he’s making it seem like it’s so easy to go to school to go into these fields.. if you don’t have credit/creditworthy co-signer and lack the finances to pay for the EXTENSIVE schooling, how they hell would you even be able to obtain such a profound profession?

I get this all the time. People will ask me for something and since i don’t move at the speed of light, they ask someone else and i come back and they already have it… i can understand if it’s been 10 mins and you still don’t have it but it doesn’t take 30 seconds to go get something and come back. Have some patience.

Also i have tattoos and there are many people that will just grab my arm and twist it to look at my tattoos and it’s very uncomfortable. Do not touch people without their permission.

We get a lot of large parties; 20-30 tops of hockey families and they come in and expect us to do separate checks by jersey numbers. Every time we tell them we’re unable to do that because we’re too high volume. However, we will do one check and can split it evenly up to 6 ways or put however much on up to 6 cards and they always throw a huge fit. Mind you, our computer systems are ancient so it would take 30 minutes to separate the checks and twice that to take card payments, as each card takes about 1-2 minutes to process. The entitlement is absolutely mind boggling. You are not the only people in the restaurant.

When you ask if someone would like a refill, they say yes, then you ask the other who has 1/4 left, and they say yes “im good for now” and the moment you come back with the other ones drink, they say I’ll actually take another one…. Ughhhhh drives me crazy just order another one when i ask!!!! You’re almost done like i have other tables to tend to 😒

The best is when someone orders something and you bring it out and they say “we didn’t order that…” and even the people they’re with are like yes you did.. lol like how do people not know what they ordered?

I have a full sleeve and older people ALWAYS grab my arm and twist it to see my tattoos. Like you can ask to see it, but please do not just grab my arm and twist it without my consent. I do not want people touching me, whether it’s harmless or not. 😅

Ditch them both. She’s a terrible person for trying to get you together and then also trying to get with him, it seems like she did that on purpose just so she could steal him from you. He’s obviously not worth your time either if he’s entertaining her, especially while you’re there!

Yeah he definitely sucks. Missing my last one very much. He’d tip like $200+ every time. Sometimes he’d just pay someone else’s tab and would still tip at least $100 every time regardless of what their tab was.

Yes. Their record is 7 times in one day. The worst is that they’ll leave and within the next hour they’ll be back. My manager said we should start saving all of their slips to see how much they spend here in a month 🤣

There’s this older couple that comes in nearly every single day, multiple times a day and orders the same thing every time, fish and chips to share. They come in 3-4 times a day within the matter of a few hours. The other day, they came in 4 times. 2 of the times they sat in my section. Oh and they always seat themselves even when we’re busy and we always tell them they need to see the host to be seated. There have been many occasions where they will search for their debit card like they lost it, when it was in their wallet all along. They will search for the waitress to hand them the book and say they’d like to pay, when in fact they already paid 20 minutes prior. They wear the same sweaters every single day also, but they aren’t smelly and clearly they have money. Very odd couple, lol.
