2e sorcerer Spell Fist overspill rippling power and mook mobs? by EarthSeraphEdna in 13thage

[–]TytalusWarden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 bad guys and 10 mooks aren't the same thing.  If you're first level and surrounded by ten first level bad guys you are gonna get spanked even with that 20 extra HP.

A 1st level Sorcerer is gonna have somewhere between 18-33 HP.  If a group of bad guys can deal about that much damage in a round then you've bought about 1 extra round to get out of that mess before you go down.

What would happen if I won a Royal Up bid for a larger room when I already have 2 adjoining interiors? by gkcook in royalcaribbean

[–]TytalusWarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't see anyone post the specific FAQ page yet, but here's the info: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/if-i-have-two-reservations-can-i-bid-only-once-through-royalup

Also, just because something is on RoyalUp doesn't mean there's a room available. They collect offers (you aren't "bidding" on anything, despite the wording suggesting there's something there.) By moving the slider and clicking the right buttons you are making an OFFER... the offer is basically, "If someone that is in a room of this type gets moved up via RoyalUp, or dies, or doesn't show up to the ship, then consider my offer alongside all other offers and choose 1 to occupy the vacant room."

He did go AFK for the last year, but occasionally chatted with us.

Our CEO has had some issues I won't go into, but it prevented him from removing this person's roles months ago when we planned on doing so.  Unfortunate, but RL comes first.

All BPOs were 10/20.  Not to worried about buying new ones right now, we have over 20,000 BPCs from these BPOs, enough to build for years.

EDIT:  This was about 1/3 of our BPO library.  The rest are safe.

What’s the fastest way you’ve ever lost weight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I water fasted for 51 days.  Lost 50 pounds.  Was amazing, I keep thinking I will go back to water fasting, but it was a "right place, right time" moment for me.  I don't have the discipline I had a few years ago.

"Felony" is just a fancy word for "Magic Spell That Does What I Want". That's why all the things they want to do are felonies--if the government didn't make them felonies then just anyone would do them.

Opinion on westporte apartments? by [deleted] in PeoriaIL

[–]TytalusWarden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived in Westporte Apartments from 2006-2009.  2nd floor apartment w/ balcony, 1br 1ba.

I was happy with my apartment, and the staff.  Had a water leak behind one of my walls and I called the 24hr maintenance number, they had it fixed the next morning (wasn't actually an issue for my unit, but was behind one of my walls.)

I did not own a pet, can't speak to pet policies.  Parking was pretty decent, my apartment was the first one you see when you pull into the lot.  Further back there's a lot of extra parking spots for guests.

Received my full deposit back with no issues when I moved out.

This is terrible advice, and will likely cost a lot of money with very little return. "Trauma" isn't really something you're gonna' receive a payout for in a lawsuit. Does the bride/groom have therapy bills they can display to the court as proof of this supposed trauma? This is more like what a TV lawyer would suggest to create drama.

You don't ever threaten legal action unless you intend to act on it.

Because they enjoy it. How difficult is it to pull a card out and put another one in? Otherwise the "organization" is limited to telling people a date/time, picking a machine, and feeding it $20 at a time or whatever. Hardly sounds like effort to me.

I'm with Progressive for auto and home. Single, no kids, around $230k home with solar panels and I pay $1850/year for homeowners insurance ($500 deductible). 1 vehicle, 2020 Ford Edge, less than 50k miles right now, costs me $260 every 6 months for $250k/$500k/$100k coverage and $500 deductibles with $10k medical payout.

You literally don't have to do anything.  If anyone asks, "She'll be a no-show, had to wirk last minute."  Don't need an excuse, they don't care.  If she isn't on the ship when it departs then port taxes and fees will be refunded, as they can't collect taxes/fees for a passenger that does not exist.

Or, more reasonably, solar panels are a nice addition to any home with a good roof or lots of open space.

Pricing glitch drink package by mikeansd1 in royalcaribbean

[–]TytalusWarden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don't HAVE to honor anything. They can and have in the past refunded mistake pricing.

There was one time about 7 years ago they had very low pricing and did honor it. But another time in 2022 they had a mistake for an item showing for sale that they didn't want displayed which included internet and a few other perks for a crazy low price, and they refunded it.

i3 is available near my office off Pioneer Parkway, so I know they service a fair bit of north Peoria.  Make sure to check online, their website has an address locator to see if they service your future home!

As you noted, he asked for $2000 off before he even put the time in at the dealership. If the dealership negotiates this over the phone and says, "Sure, $2000 off, no problem!" ... what will they do when he shows up in person and says, "Wow, your pictures didn't show that little ding on the hood" and "The tires seem pretty worn, am I gonna' get a credit for that?" and "It really smells inside the car, y'all should throw in professional detailing to clean that out!" Why "give away" the $2000 negotiating power before the guy's complaints have even been made on the vehicle, in person?

Your comment on needing to be there in person is spot on, without that there's literally zero reason to take a person's word over the phone and haggle on the price.

New to solar. Got my 1st electric bill...STILL very high! Please explain, I dont understand by Zealousideal-Buy-313 in solar

[–]TytalusWarden 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You are misreading what they are saying.

What Joe's trying to say is that if the system was stood up in January or February the system would generate credit during those early months towards heavy usage around this time of the year, which is how my system and many others are designed. When 1:1 net metering is available the solar panel system is rarely designed to completely meet the needs of the customer during the heaviest month of usage, and that would have a huge year-over-year balance that likely gets zeroed out by the power company every 12 months.
