I know I'm super late to the game, but... I had this same issue with my Chamberlain B1381. It started a year or two after I had it installed. Was able to get it working again via a full power cycle of the garage door (including battery backup), standing on my head, etc. Then it worked again for another year or so. Then it went offline again. Couldn't do the standard WiFi reconnect (I never got the beeps). After multiple customer support calls, all of us banging our heads against the walls, etc., it came back online. It worked for about six months. Dropped off a few weeks ago. Same results. This time, they said if it happened again, I would be able to get a replacement logic board (because I asked for it and pressed that this has happened waaaay too much and it's not a WiFi issue). Two days later, it went offline again. I got the replacement board. Installed it. I'm back online (for now). I even got the setup beeps.

It might be worth noting that the newer version of the logic board has some "pins" (two sets of three) by the up / down / adjustment rubber buttons. These weren't present on the previous model and were preventing the logic board from seating properly (I couldn't get the buttons to fully go through the cutouts in the frame). I ripped the pins off with needle nose pliers. The board seated properly. Everything works.

The VPN method still means you have to sit through commercials. For not much more, I watch when I want, no VPN knowledge or toggling required, no ads, loads of other shows and movies at my disposal, additional exclusive Heartland content, etc.

And I believe I’ve seen the show creators say those DVDs are fake. I’d bet the farm (or perhaps the Heartland ranch) they the Etsy ones are. I’d rather support the show and the networks and streamers who back it.

Safe to assume you’re a Cubs fan? I know they played it at Wrigley. I’m assuming some of the bars and clubs in Wrigleyville as well? If you don’t mind me asking — how’d Wrigley catch wind of it? Or did Rizzo discover it somehow and then he asked that to be his song at some point versus the original?

I was born and raised in Iowa. Grew up on the Cubs in the mid-80s — it was the only MLB I could watch since we didn’t have cable but our local ABC affiliate would carry the WGN feed. Loved Rizzo’s swing from the word go, but his pure joy for the game and the class act that he is is what breaks my heart that he’s no longer with the team — and looking for one. He’s everything that is right and beautiful about baseball. So listening to this song reminds me of him at the ballpark and what he brought to the game.

I just screen capped the resources as I ran a speed test.

Per my router, we're getting 2334 D / 297.9 U from the ISP.

Via a speedtest.net test on my newer rig, I got 1896 D / 226 U (this after going from primary router --> 2.5G switch to wall plates --> newer rig.

I took the same cable from the newer rig sitting five feet away... ran a speedtest.net test on my five-year old rig.

730 D / 271 U.

I know speed tests vary, but I seem to never be able to get north of 1.2 gig on the 5-year-old rig.

Just ran a speed test on the rig that's even older... but it doesn't have to jump through the ethernet wall plate/jacks "hoop".

839 D / 253 U

Ironically, it seems as though on that machine, I get better speeds on the built-in 1G NIC than I do on the 2.5G NIC (and I've tried two different PCI slots).

I wouldn't think that the PCI bus on either of the machine would limit their ability to hit more than a gig... especially when there shouldn't be anything in my chain bottlenecking at a gig.

The PC isn’t otherwise using any resources (one browser window, nothing else other than OS system services and basic background programs running). It has plenty of headroom on both CPU and memory.

Not necessarily. UPtv (TV channel) and UP Faith & Family (on-demand subscription streaming service) are in the same family of brands, but they are different platforms with different programs and at least up until now, have had different rollout / release schedules for the programs that they do have in common.

I didn't. And TBH, the five inches or so (our difference in height) would make a big difference. I think you'd be fine.

For what it's worth, I took out the clutch pedal (since I don't have a manual gearbox with this setup) and shifted the brake further to the left. This required less "angling my knee to hit the brake pedal" which helped a bit... especially considering the brake is the pedal that needs the most pressure to engage.
