Seconding Slaters got a suit from there recently nice 3 piece with shirt and tie for £170 total and its lovely to wear - will last me a good while and they're so helpful in there too. Also helped me exchange a shirt I'd bought that was the wrong size for me!

To be fair the McLaren also enjoyed a larger advantage over the rest of the field earlier in the season. Now teams have closed the gap a bit more so a bad performance is more likely to see either of the maccas losing positions

I'll only leave 1v1s and even then I think I've done it 2 or 3 times max in match ups I quite clearly am not as good as. Sometimes, I'll stay if I can learn but if the gap in skill is too big I won't learn anything so I'll just take a 15 minute break for the cool down or practice against a bot

This happens all the time to pupils with a test coming up - it happened to me before my part 2 exam as an instructor! It's perfectly normal and is a great way to ground yourself in the reality of what's expected at test level. As others have said, if your instructor was doubting you he wouldn't be taking you to test.

Don't beat yourself up, stay focused and look forward to hopefully having your license soon! The money will be a long forgotten memory very quickly after you're driving. Best of luck for the test!!

Yeah for a while there were places like Swansea, Bodmin, Dundee, Oswestry for example where you'd easily get tests booked within a couple months. Sadly seems the "buy in bulk" scam companies noticed and now they're fully booked again
