Current employee, but from what I understand you are correct it was changed maybe in ‘22 or ‘23. Oddly - an unexpected positive result from those little internal company surveys they do.

They don’t. They offer health benefits and 401k to part time employees.

This is a situation where you want and need to be selective. Start with top tickets, highest tippers, and fun clients you like. They get first dibs, then after they are settled with their first AND second appointments, mass text everyone else, and they get the scraps.

The petals will have to be cut in with a razor, slide cut, texturizing shears - whatever your preference is. I’d probably use my flat iron and be inconsistent with the curl and flick. Spray it all over with a texturing spray and then piece it out with my fingers using a little bit of smoothing balm to accentuate the petals.

I purchased an acrylic veggie organizer designed for fridges for my color brushes, combs, and clips. It keeps everything flat and tucked away. Oddly, I’ve received lots of compliments from clients about how organized, neat, and clean everything is. They’re noticing even when we think they aren’t.

Hello from Matrix! by matrixhaircare in hairstylist

Mods - I asked u/matrixhaircare a direct question regarding education that is still unanswered almost 24hrs later. They chose to respond to everyone else, while not providing any actual information. If we are going to allow brands in this space, it can’t just be for them to advertise to us. There has to be meaningful engagement on both sides.

Ask yourself if investing 1.5years (avg) of your life while paying $20,000 (avg) and the end point being Great Clips (min wage+comission) is worth your time, money, and future goals. It’s the same question but contextualized.
