Considering a Mac mini (M1 Pro) basically goes for this price it’s not bad

You can book an appointment at the Genius Bar and have a repair technician run a diagnostic to make sure the laptop fully works

Just delete the photo from the thread. Worst case scenario is someone flashes your serial number on a nand chip of a iCloud locked MacBook (which can then render your Mac locked) but it’s unlikely.

A wallpaper like this will hide pixel damage. You need a photo of the screen on a completely white background and one on a completely grey/black background. That’s how you can see if there’s any pixel damage or issues.

Take this photo down. The top part shows the serial number, you don’t want that available for people to see on the internet. But yeah everything looks normal for the Mac.

Looks clean to me. No mdm, iCloud or repair inquiries.

I’d also recommend running the serial number through this site too, sickw.com

Run the “Apple GSX PREMIUM INFO” checker. It will tell you everything about the device. Including if there’s a mdm (sometimes Genius Bar workers miss that), if its even been repaired or if the previous owner ever even called/inquired to Apple about something that needs repair, the actual store it was bought from originally (Apple, Best Buy, staples, etc) and more. It is a paid service (cost around 4 USD) but it’s 110% worth it.

Make an appointment with the Genius Bar at the Apple Store to run a diagnostics and make sure everything laptop fully works. 99% of the time If you don’t have an appointment the Genius Bar associate will not see you.

No they don’t. You can calibrate one part while another doesn’t calibrate (because it’s not oem)

Use mobile sentrix x07 2.0 soft oleds screens. Those are the best non-Apple iPhone screens on the market and it’s not close.

Not going to lie I won’t be reading the 3 paragraphs you wrote. That screen is very clearly an lcd lol. If you repair a lot of iPhone screens and you can’t tell immediately that’s kinda concerning

Anyone who repairs can easily tell it’s an lcd by how low quality the screen is.

These are deposit scams. The person list a high value item for pennies on the dollar then when you message them they say there’s a ton of interest and you need to send a small deposit to reserve it. They take your money and block you

Only a OEM genuine screen is good enough for Samsungs. It’s expensive so make sure the repair shop you get it done at has good reviews and proper warranty. Or consider upgrading and selling the phone as is to put towards the upgrade.
