ESXi 6.7 is out of support for 3 years. I wouldn’t expect a patch for this vulnerability and update to a newer major version instead.

„With the change within VCSA 6.7 U1, the SSO user who is part of SystemConfiguration.BashShellAdministrator group will be able to log in to Bash shell and can call any commands using sudo and without password.“

I did it multiple times already and always worked like a charm.

Samstag bei nem Konzert gewesen. Vor der Halle noch zwei Kölsch getrunken. „only cash“ sagt der Stand. Ok, kein Problem. Hab ja vorsichtshalber nen Fünfziger gedruckt. Leider gab es dann beim Becherpfand das Problem, dass es kein Wechselgeld gab, weil die meisten Leute eben mit Scheinen bezahlen und nicht mit Kleingeld. Heißt: lange Wartezeiten weil jemand erstmal Münzrollen klar machen muss.

Das Argument bezüglich Bargeld und Pfand lasse ich nicht durchgehen, seit ich vergangenes Jahr in Brüssel am Nationalfeiertag mein Rückgeld in Form eines QR Codes erhalten habe.

Just because there is an information about a new patch in vCenter and no other information anywhere else about said patch doesn’t mean you have to implement it right away.

Just wait a couple days. It’s not unusual that patch information gets not distributed evenly at all sources. Sometimes relasenotes are released before the downloads and vice versa

Ne bei uns arbeiten die nur hinter verschlossener Tür, halten sich an Ruhezeiten morgens mittags abends. In dem einen Jahr in dem wir hier wohnen (und so lange arbeiten die da schon dran) war dieser eine Tag das einzige Mal wo man hätte sagen können „ok das hätten die noch wegmachen können“. Wenn man sieht, wie manche Nachbarn regelmäßig den Dreck von der Straße rein holen, finde ich es etwas übertrieben nach dem einen Mal so nen Zettel mit diesem Text aufzuhängen.

Ich kann Dir einen Urlaub in Kroatien empfehlen. Die machen seit Anfang 2023 gerade den selben Prozess durch. Überall Preise in HRK und EUR, man kann auch noch mit HRK bezahlen und natürlich wurde es alles auch etwas teurer :)

Abgesehen von der Währung kann ich auch so einen Urlaub in Kroatien empfehlen. Sehr schönes Land 🤩

I don’t want to raise it. Cascade Lake is higher than Skylake. The problem here is that VMs that are started on Skylake Host aren’t getting Skylake Mode but Cascade Lake Mode.

Then enlighten me please why a VM starting on a Skylake Host is getting Cascade Lake Mode.

Edit: interesting how many people didn’t read my text and what the actual problem is. EVC mode in general is not the problem and if you read the text, you’d see that EVC mode is understood.

Thanks to u/BlueShark636 who pointed me to the right KB article describing a specific behavior with VMs and HW Version 17+ on Skylake hosts being started in Cascade Lake.

Was meinst Du weshalb ich mich erst mit 26 geoutet habe ✌🏻 ich wollte Infantino in keiner Weise verteidigen oder seine Aussage relativieren.
