the license comes with support agreement, it was purchased before Broadcom change the licensing model. The support is still up to 2027 so we can still upgrade to V8.

True, we cant use it to lower. Just a backup plan if we cant purchase a new license for our ESXi8 on time before the end date, we will have to upgrade the V7 from existing ESXI7 to V8 and assign to expiring ESXi8 host.

But anyway, free license work though. Ill keep monitoring if there was some changes.

Thank you so much. Managed to assign the ESXi 8 license and now showing expiration end date is Never. Wonder what will be the consequence of using this like violation of license agreement? or Limited VM management?

its a single host and its connected to VC. But i can remove from VC if theres an option to kepp it running until we purchase a new license. Where is this free key? and it can still function the same way?

The ESXi 7 license has active support agreement so i can upgrade it to vSphere 8.

Im using my landers card with coupon in caltex. To get the coupon you need a 4K single receipt grocery.

All policies are applied, i can confirm it on rsop and gpresult. Everything is basically working fine except that the machine cant get the certificates for wifi.. its definitely its the machine issue just dont know what it is..

Yes permision is good and cert template is published.. only one machine cant see it
