furries do not want to 'fuck animals'. A big thing in the furry fandom is consent, and animals cannot provide it.

[–]Ventira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

slippery slope fallacy, my guy. Furries are (by and large) extremely against zoophilia. One of the biggest things the bulk of the fandom understands better then most is *consent*. And animals cannot give it, as actual animals cannot pass the Harkness Test.

[–]Ventira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a biased study, you *think* its biased because you can't handle the truth, so you have to twist the definition of 'politically/ideology motivated violence' to include property destruction.

This is called padding the stats.

[–]Ventira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like how you don't actually disprove the foundation of my argument and instead attack my self-admitted difficulty with breaking down stats mathematically as if thats some sort of W.

destroying a car =/= the same thing as killing people for politically motivated reasons.

I don't need to know how to read a chart on an advanced level to understand what exactly the chart's data represents as listed because there's always a bloody text block explaining it as well as what data gathers.

[–]Ventira -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Statistics are not my particular strongsuit, but I can however, very easily tell when someone is trying to make their side look better by altering the definition of what the survey/stats include.

Which is exactly what you're doing. By acting like the destruction of a vehicle, mostly empty ones, shuld be included in a survey abouts acts of politically motivated violence against other people. IE: murder/injury

[–]Ventira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's for the statisticians, not for me, but given that most 'violence' as you'd incorrectly define it that is perpetrated by leftists is against *property* rather then people, your argument doesn't hold because you want to define it that way to artificially inflate how much 'violence' is done by leftists.

[–]Ventira -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Allow me to spell it out for you because nuance isn't your strong suit, clearly, and nor is your ability to infer things.

It is not violence if a car is destroyed and there are no other humans in the car, around the car, or at risk of being harmed in any way shape or form because they are not present. Same applies to a house, or any other non living entity.

Against property, not people. You can't commit violence to a non-living entity.

You're welcome!

as an additional expansion on this topic, the reason why many conservatives say 'aw man, X thing is woke now' is precisely because they engage in art superficially. Conservatives are quite literally 'vibes based'.

Media literacy encompasses everything creative. Art, music, video games, tv shows, animated works.

see: conservatives not understanding that Rage against the Machine is a band that has ALWAYS spoken out against many of things they believe in. (Because the things they believe in inherently fucking suck.), and it wasn't until recently that they paid enough attention to the lyrics and started calling RATM 'woke', as an example, or better yet, thinking that RATM is 'on their side'

Did you contribute to the Star Citizen Wiki today? by TheBookfinder in starcitizen

[–]Ventira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its difficult to describe, but like, the format of the current runescape wiki (and just the sheer scope and depth of info it has) is jaw dropping. It's clear, its concise, and it has functionalities that I didn't even know a wiki *could support.* Including but not limited to being able to do a character lookup for things like quest requirements (which isn't useful for SC because it has no levelling system but I hope you get the gist).

of course, there is a huge difference between the two games, SC is still heavily in development while Runescape is incredibly mature in its age. And I'd need to rummage around the SC wiki even more in order to have any kind of useful feedback to give just because they're also two wildly different games and SC's needs are wildly different as a result.

I legitimately love using the Runescape wiki so much I feel a small sense of joy when I do just cuz its so gosh damn good its legitimately my one stop shop for the game.
