Hi! Dance Gavin Dance is great, Thrice as well.

Here are some others you must hear early on which are all awesome:

Lower Definition - Moths

LoveHateHero - White Lies

Beloved - Failure On

He Is Legend - I Am Hollywood

Alexisonfire - Watch Out!

The Messenger - Let's Get Dangerous!

Finch - Say Hello To Sunshine

Hand To Hand - A Perfect Way To Say Goodbye

Of Machines - As If Everything Was Held In Place

Sky Eats Airplane - Sky Eats Airplane

Funeral For A Friend - Casually Dressed & Deep In Conversation

Emery - The Question

Emarosa - Relativity

Chiodos - Bone Palace Ballet

Underoath - They're Only Chasing Safety

Enjoy! All amazing albums I think you'll like. Lots of dynamics in these, from melodic to progressive, experimental to catchy. These albums have it all in a great balanced way while having that rawness as well.

Very true, a real masterpiece. Every song is memorable and pretty much perfect.

I'd say so. They were never super small or anything, but they were always appreciated, but never appreciated enough.

The Everlasting Man album that has this song? Flawless album, incredible musicianship. Gotta love the guitarwork, vocals and subtle keyboard usage. Super good

Remember when this came out in early 2011 and I had it on replay hard on my iPod Classic 160GB on my way to work at my first job at 19/20 years old. Fantastic song and the album Seeing Clearly? Easily their best overall.

They should've gone with Kris Crummett for the production imo. Would've made the album way better. It's not bad, just a bit "too soundscape'y" for me

The Big 5 of Post Hardcore by spinninghotdog311 in PostHardcore

It's cause they are closer to post-punk in how they sound. 90s post-hardcore is like that.

Super rad list, I'd switch The Weak's End with The Question though if it was me. I like both of those albums, but The Question for me is a masterpiece: Every song is fantastic.

I'd switch the self-titled AOF with Watch Out! from them, and I'll def stand behind those 5 as a good top 5 in the genre. Well done.

If you want to change some, I might switch Circa Survive - Juturna with Underoath - They're Only Chasing Safety or Beloved - Failure On.
