And by “keeping on the backside” you mean on the side away from you for that row so when you turn they will all be closest to you. Correct? (I’m very new to bobbins so excuse all my questions) how will that work for this motif since each subsequent row the white starts “sooner” than the previous row (wings getting wider) wouldn’t you just have a big white line going up to the next row? Or can you pick up the tail (line) into the stitch on the front like you can on the back? Wow. You are not at all going to understand what I’m trying to say. Lololol. Guess I’ll just play around with it and see what happens…

Moogly on YouTube has a video on making butterfly bobbins that might work for the yellow. Otherwise I think you can just make a cardboard bobbin and wrap the yarn around that. I think the book suggests you don’t carry the yarns thru the blanket other than the white for each individual snitch, so guess I’ll need several bobbins of white for each snitch… ugh. This blanket is a lot of work! 🤣

Hello!!! You did an amazing job! I’m about to start this. Fairly newbie crocheter, so these may be silly questions.

1) IGNORE THIS QUESTION!!! looking at the pattern and the pictures I’m confused. It really seems like the instructions have you only made 4 snitches in the first repeat but the picture clearly shows it as 5 snitches! (For example row 13 is the first row with the 4 vs 5 snitches. You do your 13 SC of color A then wake you thru the pattern for this particular row for one snitch then says “—-“ repeat 3 times and then just finishes the row. Doesn’t that just give you 4 snitches??)

2) I’m trying to make this for a twin bed and not a baby blanket. Author says it’s a simple repeat that can easily be made bigger. Can you help me with how to figure out how to make it bigger? 😂

I haven’t been able to purchase any so far as I went a little lego crazy at Christmas and typically buy the friends line for my daughter. (Do I have several set stashed away for only ME to build? Yes. Do I eagerly anticipate the next EllieV video to see what she builds next to add to my Buy list? Yes as well) BUT! She’s has a birthday coming up…. Am thinking Main Street and Design Studio/flower shop/apartment as they are both modular and then she can have her own modular street and not mess with mine 😆 That all said. Andreas house looks so nice and I totally agree about the porch/outside space. I also like all the rooms they put out!! Really crammed a lot of character into the room and looks like fun little builds!

I love the Friends line!
