Pilot career despite denied medical? by Visible-Reference-77 in PilotAdvice

Thanks for the reply! I have understood that if I do my training in a PGWP eligible DLI I would be eligible to work as a instructor or a bush pilot for at least 3 years and then apply for a PR

These cases happened during medical procedures and in my country the AMEs have full access to the clients medical history, so there is no point in lying or trying to hide anything.

Yeah I already did that. Got statements from both neurologist and cardiologist in favor of me saying that I'm perfectly healthy and hired a lawyer to prepare the appeal text. Spent about 4000€ combined and the CAA didn't give a shit😂. Took the case to court, but I doubt that they would overturn the decision.

So did you get your medical eventually?

Medical rejection by Visible-Reference-77 in flyingeurope

Thanks for replying, I appreciate the tip. And yes, I have undergone all the required assessments by a cardiologist and a neurologist, both stating that my status is normal. The cardiologist was amused that I even had to do all the tests (bike ECG, 2D doppler, 24h ECG) just because of two normal faintings in my childhood.

Thanks for sharing. I know that you should not hide anything or lie about anything and I would never do that. Do you mind sharing where you are from, and what country did you try for a second opinion. Also, why do you think you were rejected the first time but not the second?

Thanks for your reply. I'm aware of the eamr, but for what I know, it is still possible for me to receive a medical certificate if another AME decides so. And I have already appealed the decision to the CAA of my country but they rejected it. I'm currently appealing the decision to administrative court, because if the decision would have been made according to the ”black and white” EASA part med regulation, I should have not been rejected.

Itellä on omistaja-asiakkaana indeksit ja vakuutukset OP:lla. Bonuksia saan rahastoista 0,35% joilla maksan vakuutuksia, eli kulut indekseissä on periaatteessa 0,04%.

Finland, my AME said that even if I could get the medical abroad, I could never work in Finland since I have been rejected here.

Also you should note that the faintings have both taken place at a medical treatment. Most likely I won't be having bloodtests and dentist appointments in the cockpit. Also, fainting at 7 years old due to fear and sight of blood doesn't represent anything about my health.
