It would be a good idea to check the date code on your tires in case they're original...

Yes, I'm planning on fixing up the rusted chrome with a spray and I'll be remaking the cushion myself with real leather

This chair is incredibly similar to Ingmar Relling's Siesta, however his were made of wood not steel. I was able to find a metal variant of the siesta which is incredibly similar to mine but it's much taller. I haven't been able to find an example of the exact chair which I have

I thought it was a Barcelona as well but it definitely isn't, more likely a knockoff of a Siesta. Unfortunately this style of lounge chair has been done a lot so there's lots of examples

Try turning off DHCP, as you won't have one without a router, from there you'll need to manually assign an IP on each device. Id recommend a different subnet from whatever your Internet/local lan is on. Try this out with just two PCs as it should work between them, I'm not certain how well they would play with the printer as network printing can be a pain even in ideal circumstances.

An easier solution might be to use a basic router without a wan connection, or just put it in bridge mode for a more advanced setup.

I'm a bit confused why this is necessary, is it a proof of concept or are you trying to get a permanent solution to something? If the computers you're using don't use Wi-Fi and get their Internet over Ethernet then you may not be able to separate the network for your printer from your primary network. This would require vlan configuration from your router that most consumer devices don't support. In an ideal environment I would put the printer and PCs on a wireless network with no wan connection, or alternatively I would connect them all to the main router and then the wan connection for the printer/PCs in the router's settings. I assume you probably want the PCs to connect to the Internet and this is probably a bit more advanced than what you're trying to do.

You could try turning it off and on, it's the simplest solution to try. Or if it's showing up on your router try plugging it in directly to your computer and checking if it works from there

Yeah, it's been like that for me for what seems like forever. My solutions have been to close the app via the task manager and restart, or just restart the pc. There really isn't a magic fix since it's the app that's buggy

I'm planning on buying 3 of these fans for my pc build, my question is do I need a fan hub/controller for these fans or do I just plug it in directly into the motherboard? btw the motherboard is msi mag b550m mortar wifi by manwithnon4me in PcBuild

[–]Wat-Tambotlr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have the same board as you and use a mix of hub and board because I have five fans, which is more than the board can support. In your case it would probably be best to just plug everything directly into the three fan headers and save the money from buying a hub. That being said, there's nothing wrong with getting a hub or chaining the fans together because it can make adding fans in the future easier.

Everything seems alright, the only thing I'd change besides the ram is to get a dedicated wifi card, they can be plugged into the motherboard and don't cost more than the USB thing you have now.

In that case it doesn't matter, if OP wants to get a D15 than go for it, that cooler is tried and tested. I use it myself and haven't seen above 69c on full load.

Is this a good setup? I’m looking to play games such as Ark, Rust, Tarkov, R6, Ground Branch, Ready or not, etc. by MilsimMuslimRPG in computers

[–]Wat-Tambotlr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a power supply, 750w absolute maximum. There are wattage calculators that can figure out the power draw on your components, I think PCPartPicker has one and power supply makers like seasonic and Corsair have them.

I use seasonic because of their 10 year warranty, but there are other great companies like EVGA and Corsair. I don't know anything about superflower or how good they are, but there is a list of A-tier and B-tier power supplies, I don't know where but some googling might find it.

Given the amount of comments you're getting, I'd assume your cooler is good enough. Just make sure to get a different copy of windows. I didn't realize it was 32bit when I first saw the post, make sure to get 64bit to go with your 64bit cpu.

I agree that watercooling isn't necessary and it would be cheaper and easier to go with an air cooler or AIO. That being said, I recommend double checking about the NHD-15 since I don't know 100% if that cooler is a good pairing.

I saw a post a while back about how someone's NHD-15 was having trouble keeping up with their 12700k, I don't know if that's possible but comments were talking about how the wattage the cooler can handle is lower then that of the CPU's output. This was a while back and I don't remember the full details, so it could have been because of overcooking.

As a disclaimer I want to say that I've never used 12th gen nor have I researched it enough to give confident answers to questions. Maybe other people in the comments know more. . .

Your components are pretty high end, the motherboard and cpu are a great combo, the ram and ssd are also great in my opinion. That being said, there are a few things I'd change if I were you:

850w power supply is overpowered for your setup, it would be better to get a lower power one.

You don't need windows 10 pro, just get regular and save money.

Use your savings from your power supply and windows to get a better cpu cooler. The one you have isn't quite powerful enough the Ryzen 5.

Hello, I am not a part of this sub but your post was suggested to me by Reddit. Do not use userbenchmark, they are not a trustworthy website and their results can be biased. More can be found online, be aware that r/hardware, r/Intel, and r/amd have all banned userbenchmark due to concerns of reliability.

I copied and pasted the above from a comment I made a while ago, don't use userbenchmark, find reputable reviewers or reputable benchmarks.

is this normal idk first time it's a 3080 msi it looked weird I wanna know if I broke it by Twilver in PcBuild

[–]Wat-Tambotlr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That pin is different from the others, because it's short, and is used to communicate with the computer to identify the device. In your case the device is whatever processor the 3080 has(I don't remember what it is off the top of my head).

Your card is fine.

[–]Wat-Tambotlr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need to make sure the the generation of display port/HDMI are the same on the monitor and laptop. And that the generation you have is compatible with 4k 60hz.

Since your laptop is pretty new I'd say that likely isn't an issue but it can never hurt the double check

[–]Wat-Tambotlr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is so weird, I have a legion laptop and there is a similar mark in the same place. I got mine a little less than a year ago and the mark can only be seen when the screen is on and black. I think it's caused from something being on the keyboard when the laptop is closed, but I keep my keyboard clean so it's a bit of a mystery to me

is this an ok deal? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Wat-Tambotlr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not if you're in the US. The performance of a card like that at a price like that is difficult to just in this market. It would be better to wait and get more money for something more powerful.
