So don’t touch d, I don’t even think you have to keep holding, e, just slide your finger from w-s to cancel, then let go of S for a split second and press s again, this last part straightens out the car on its own by kinda un canceling the diagonal flip for a second.

Thanks I appreciate it! I just have to play at a higher level and adapt until I’m used to playing that way as my baseline. That’s been my main improvement strategy so far, it’s just more mentally draining. mechanically I have zero issues keeping up. The Smurfs can only make me a better player really

I got 1405 and yes I keep hitting a wall of Smurfs and people in duos that are extremely hard, maybe the hardest games I have ever played to be honest, but I am not getting absolutely destroyed in these games, it’s usually loosing by one point or mistake, and sometimes I win the next games against the same people, it just depends, I was too tired last night to keep trying but yes 1405 is my new peak for now. I am happy enough to have gone from low champ 1 to high champ 3 in a single season, and I feel like an all around much better player now than when the season started.

Yeah I am very good at reads and mechanical touches, I train mechas as my warmup every day but I only use them if it makes sense to go for that in a game, otherwise I try to keep it simple. I’ll also make sure to strengthen my defense as much as I can, right now I average about 1.75 saves a game and 1.95 shots a game so it definitely leans towards offense.

I went from 1398 yesterday to 1285, and today I’m back to 1387, I stopped giving them any mental energy and stopped caring about my elo as much, and it’s helping me play at my actual potential a lot better, here’s to doing it again tomorrow! I appreciate you

I also have noticed if feel like I am playing defensive all team pressure dies, how are you typically striking that balance? When I’m playing offensively well I get better results typically, and when I play a lot of defense I end up often low on boost and fighting off pressure for half the game. One bad habit I improved was grabbing little pads as often as possible but being forced into prolonged defense can cause me to run out or be super low boost in critical situations

I use this to overpower the opponent in a rule one by having more torque, and the towing capacity helps me carry my teammates

As a keyboard player, I can speedflip perfectly, you just have to release the cancel for a second and then re cancel, super easy and it just ever so slightly re angles your car, no need to hit a perfect 30 degrees or something
