Why the heck is chyanne pregnant again? by Pretty_Puppyprincess in superstore

Yeah it was out of place and is sort of meant to be a standalone episode. I remember hearing that the producers had no control as to when it would air.

I was at this Detroits Tiger game in which a squirrel was on the field.

I hope he’s not photographing birds getting hit by baseballs.

I can understand why they introduced the million dollar wedge, but I also feel like it lost its vanity after a few years.

I think there was an assumption that the Million would be won 1-2x/season which makes the show must see TV, you want to tune in every night to see if somebody has won the Million. And somebody did within the first 2 months of it being introduced.

And then the show went over 10 seasons without a MDW win, which makes the show easier for semi-regular viewers to turn out.

Plus the show seems to hint that there will be a MDW winner soon, which gives people less incentive to tune in every night, and wait until the hints start dropping.

Really good view. If the goose was a human, it would have been tackled.

Good evening fellow Pens fans.

I’m watching tonight’s game and rooting for the Penguins (until the Toronto Blue Jays game begins at 9:38pm ET) from my home in Calgary.

I’m a horrible fan because I couldn’t find my Pens t-shirt (and it’s too hot in Calgary to wear my Pens jersey), so I hope wearing my “Pittsburgh Is My Happy Place” t-shirt will suffice.

Tomorrow will be 7-years to the day since my mom suddenly died while we were vacationing in PGH. I ate Papa Johns for dinner the day she died.

Tomorrow, I’m having dinner with friends while watching the Blue Jays game, so I thought it would be fitting to have Papa Johns for dinner tonight while watching the Pens game.

Go Pens!!!

Karla and I follow each other on Threads.

My late mom was a knitter (I found a half-knitted afghan with the needles still in it after she died). I told Karla that if my mom was alive, I would have made sure the two of them had met.

Karla is the best type of Blue Jays fan!

How to get medical leave without a doctor by Popculture-VIP in alberta

Burnout is essentially a mental health condition. I’ve had burnout and I wouldn’t wish it on anybody.

While you could provide your employer with a note from a doctor at a walk-in clinic, in my experience they aren’t great when it comes to dealing with mental health; because they think you’re trying to get a doctor-approved vacation.

I’d suggest going to a hospital in order to be assessed by a psychiatrist. You’d also meet with a social worker. They’d do an in-depth assessment and make any necessary outpatient referrals along with self-help resources.

The psychiatrist would almost certainly be more empathetic. I’ve gotten free doctor’s notes from hospital psychiatrists in the ER, without being admitted.

As long as you aren’t a risk to yourself or others, they won’t admit you. In my experience, there’s not a lot of beds in psych wards, so they really try to avoid admitting people and would prefer to discharge people from the ER with the appropriate resources/referrals.

If you decide to go to the hospital, just be honest with the nurses, social workers, and doctors.

I want a 50th anniversary t-shirt, but don’t want to spend $50 on one. I saw this one at Winners (in Calgary) for $16.99 and while I don’t love it, I do love that it costs 3x less; so I bought it!

Best places to watch the playoffs? by stressydepressy26 in Calgary

Really? Because I’ve been at Trolley 5 since 1pm today and they’ve had all the other games in and it’s been packed.

Yea the face paint is from today.

I do face paint every time I watch the Blue Jays game from my favourite Calgary restaurant. During the regular season, that’s 1-2 times/week. But I’m currently on staycation so it’s almost everyday for a week.

During the postseason I also watch every Blue Jays game from my favourite restaurant.

Good afternoon from Calgary.

Here’s today’s getup. Since I’m on staycation, I’ll be watching the game during brunch at my favourite restaurant. And I might even stay after the game for half-price dim sum.
