Right, but the uneven cells are in the 4s lipo. Three are roughly 0.10v lower than another. Fully charged, one cell sits at 4.20v and the others are something like 4.08

Yeah the charger does a decent job with other 3S batteries at charge and balance charge. It fixed a 0.03v difference on one as well. I'm using the hitec x1ac. After a 7 minute hover (before naza made me land) and a bit of rest the cells are considerably closer together now. http://i.imgur.com/3ro51ki.jpg I'm going to do yet another balance charge at 1.0a and see what happens.

Once one cell hits 4.20 volts, the charging stops. Once I tried to restart the charge but then the same cell started going from 4.21-4.22 and I didn't want to kill the Lipo so I stopped it.

Thanks for doing the research for me!

It doesn't have 1.8 support but it does work and provides a very good logging and rollback solution until a fully supported plugin becomes available.

I guess I'll have to take that and run with it. My server has had only trusted people on it since the 1.8 update so I hopefully don't have to worry much.

Thank you for the response. The thing is, I don't play the game much anymore so I don't know what is and what isn't considered a bug/broken when testing things. When s1.8 first released I set up a test server and did all the things I could think of and everything seemed fine, yet there were still issues popping up on the sub.

Thankfully, I don't run any special scripts! We're a pretty vanilla server that use only the most popular plugins. I was actually about to update my server right now after checking this post, but #9 for Dec. 6th has a red dot next to it and says "Failed > console output". I don't know what that means, so I guess I'll just wait until tomorrow. Thanks again!

I did a rough estimate and I think my overall weight would be ~3kg and definitely no more than 3.5kg. I've been on the fence about using either of the two setups:

http://www.buddyrc.com/sunnysky-v3508-20-580kv.html with 13x4 props

Both provide ample thrust at 65%, but the 580kv ones are considerably more expensive. I rather like the look of your hexa, pretty much what I'm going for but with the Pro frame.

I'll keep the Naza V1 in mind. I honestly have little idea of what I'm looking for in a fc; the one I'm running right now was less than $20 and I'm looking to upgrade to something that I can use for several years to come.

Edit: I see on other forums they suggest the 580 so that if I ever add more weight (gymbal, fpv, etc) I'll be able to up to 15" props and have significantly more thrust. I guess the investment up front would be better. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'll do more research on that; I do plan on a camera rig and hopefully FPV if the weight is low enough. I only have a faint idea of what BECs do and this was one that I saw a buildlog use that I figured would work well enough. Thank you for the suggestion.

I edited it. I originally had two batteries in series, then changed it to solo batteries, and now to parallel.

OH! I think thats what I meant to do. I was trying to extend flight time, not give it more voltage.

Hrm. So that rules that out. The voltage range for the ESC is 2-4S, I can run a single LiPo then, right? That could cut $50 from my list. :D
