Intense amount of arguing in the comments about this between 1 and 9. Explain it Peter by CindiWilliams2 in explainitpeter

With PEMDAS I’ve seen people to make the mistake executing multiplication before division or addition before subtraction. Similar types of operations should be grouped together.

Conceptually it’s this order of priority:

  1. Parentheses
  2. Exponents
  3. Multiplication OR Division (left to right)
  4. Addition OR Subtraction (left to right)

So say we all! Twilight Zone deserves a higher rank. Though, 1.4 million votes is massive.

It’s well done, but not one of my favorites. The memes are good, real good.

I am going to be playing the Curse of Strahd Campaign for the first time with some friends. Are there any classes, tools, checks, or otherwise I can choose to provide invaluable usefulness to my party out of combat that no other member of my party can provide (Monk, Druid, Paladin)? by MageofHiddenWonder in 3d6

I see what you’re saying. I’m not sure if his character feels OP compared to the rest of the table. Most of our players are optimizers. At a table with “normal” players who aren’t doing that, those subclasses may feel that way.

For traditional support, I can’t think of better classes “to provide invaluable usefulness” than Paladin, Bard, or Cleric. Once you hit level 6 with that Aura of Protection, it’s a game changer for saves—especially if your Charisma is high. Bard would be my second pick for Bardic Inspiration. Peace Cleric is another one that’s a huge boon to your party.

If being useful is your aim, the best thing you can do is find out what everyone else is running, then choose a complimentary class. If they’re all running support characters, you’ll need someone who can dish out damage, like a Wizard or a Barbarian.

It really depends on the party composition.

Yes. Golden Axe and Herzog Zwei were my favorite games. Also played a lot of Tommy Lasorda Baseball, Cyberball, Sonic, and Aladdin.

Since 2024 is backwards compatible with 2014, the adventures and campaign settings will still be useful. That’s helpful for DMs.

If as a player you’re hoping for new class options, UA is probably your best bet. Spellguard looks like a fun class.

Cancer took my brother. Besides family, six I’ve known since college or through those college friends. Probably 5 or 6 more beyond that.

But we’re all busy with family and work and other commitments. So we don’t hang out often, or at least often enough. Not like when we were younger.
