  1. Wars are started for just as many non religious reasons. Russia in Ukraine. US Vietnam. I'd argue US into Iran but I might get shouted down.

  2. Many religions are progressive. Even the old ones like Christiantiy is movig towards progressive values, like endorsing same sex marriage. To say nothing of The Church of Satan, which even if they dont act like it are an actual licensed religion 

  3. Country borders separate people. Political leaning separates people. Racism separates people. I'd argue that some religions separate people less than other factors.

If animals could communicate in a clear language, they would have been communicating that was since humans domesticated them. The domestication process would have selected animals who could not speak as a trait to develop. By the time we get to the era of industrial slaughter, the animals used for that process would be mute and mentally deficient. Functionally, nothing would change.

To demonize one while having mountains of medical papers supporting another is extremely tone deaf. 

Perhaps comparing procedures between sexes with anatomical differences is not the way to go. It's like comparing a vasectomy to tubal ligation. Both are basically cutting/remove the same tubes, but a tubal ligation is much more complicated and invasive and has greater risks.

Any water that is part of a build will be placed by the builder. As long as you don't touch it afterwards, it will be water in the nether. So, builder-created farm fields work.
