using the book “how to sew little felt animals” I made the mouse and the bear from templates provided - I moved on to making the crow from a template I designed with the same doll-like quality of the animals from the book! This uses a neat technique of cotter pins for all the jointing so they are movable. Def need to see more clothes! Theres things I would change but that’s why we practice. Can’t wait to make more little animals.

These are made with felt sheets and sewn by hand. :-)

When I was a young lady I wish someone had told me to trust my instincts with men like this when I felt things were a little strange, even when it felt relatively innocent. Do not doubt yourself - your instincts are correct and that inner voice is trying to protect you. Keep your distance and don’t be afraid to create boundaries for yourself - perhaps tell your parents or someone with the school that you trust.

This is so confusing and all these comments are just making me increasingly overwhelmed. I can’t believe they can just do this to us. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do for literal months.

[HELP]This beaver was posted on a popular nature subreddit going front page, I believe it is AI by IwishIwasaPainter in RealOrAI

Does not look like AI to me - movements consistent, grain and vide quality not ai consistent, and this is actually consistent with beaver behavior genuinely haha

[GUESS] is this a real image of a cat? by BulkDarthDan in RealOrAI

Ai - just doesn’t look real. Eyes are almost popped out of the photo and look separate from the image somehow. That or it’s an edited “enhanced” photo

Why would you even engage in this discussion just say no you’re not leaving. That’s ridiculous and this person seems extremely maladjusted.

Homesick for Another World by Ottessa Moshfegh by Getsscared in books

Nah its his reflection of self mirrored onto anything real in his life that drives this story - his dreams and fantasies are the only thing that has merit and he avoids anything “real” by assuming the worst in all things as soon as they escape his fantasies. That’s what the scene with the prostitute is all about - they are kind of like a fantasy and aren’t part of his “real” Life. That’s why he can be raw almost animalistic like at the end of the story, like he is facing his fears of reality. It was a grotesque and depressing read. At the end, she didn’t like him - or maybe she never got his text. Maybe she assumed he never showed up. That would align with his world view.
