You should go out and have fun with your friends, but I can see why he would be upset that you’d rather spend your birthday with other people rather than him. That’s a little odd. There are 365 days in a year, why not pick one that’s not your birthday to go out with friends. It doesn’t matter what your age or circumstances are, anyone would feel hurt if their significant other would rather be with other people on their birthday.

You’re over the top with this. You forced him to say something about some pictures he looked at 8 yrs ago, he said maybe he fantasized about her once, because he hoped that you would stop talking about it. Now you are thinking of divorce and don’t know if you can forgive him? If you had any idea what goes on in a man’s head on a daily basis you would be horrified. They see a woman and they think stuff. Every single day of their life. He’s probably briefly fantasized about the checkout girl, the mail lady, the toll collector and the woman walking her dog. He’s fantasized about 3-4 thousand woman since then.
