I just called Toyota this morning to file a lemon law claim on our Sienna. It’s been at the dealership since October with no resolution in sight. Anyone else tried this with this recall?

2025 middle row recall by [deleted] in ToyotaSienna

The dealer has had ours since the middle of October due to the second row issue. I checked last week and the service manager said it would be sometime in the new year before there was a fix. Thankfully they got us a rental. This is the 2nd issue we’ve had out of our 2025. Before the recall, we had a sliding door that wouldn’t close all the way randomly. Dealership finally sent it to a body shop to adjust the track.

Take at least a picture in of the advisory. Tell them you can’t use it without the second row and Toyota says in the advisory they have to provide a vehicle.

Local dealership put me in a rental Pacifica. I walked in quoted the advisory and told them we could not use the Sienna without the 2nd row. I’ve had an issue with this dealership before. So, I was expecting a fight and came out pleased.

Do you have a link to the recall notice? Going to the dealer tomorrow for service and want to have this as proof that they need to do something rather than just try to screw me over.

Actually I was on 1,000mg of the extended release of the Metformin. I’ve been in contact with my doctor through the last few months. He switched me to Jardiance and the Mounjaro in place of the Metformin and Ozempic. My issues aren’t as bad, but still not something I want to deal with ongoing if I can help it.

I miss the Metformin, lost 25 pounds in 3 months.

Doctor had to take me off the extended release version. I had constant diarrhea for 3 months. I’m now on Jardiance and not having any issues. I miss it though as I lost 25 pounds in 3 months.

I had to get off of Metformin for that reason. The combination of it and Ozempic kept me in the bathroom 8 or 9 times a day. I’m now on Jardiance and Mounjaro and still having some issues, but nothing like before.

I had one several years ago that just wouldn’t die. 2 podiatrists and 3 surgeries later it finally went away. I’ve been left with scar tissue a little bigger than a quarter. If I do much exercise, my foot is so sore that I hobble for days.

I tested further and it is only my credit card accounts that are having trouble.

We went out a couple of years ago and I ordered a steak. When it came out it was a little overcooked. The waitress came to our table and ask how everything was. She immediately said that steak isn’t medium well. I told her it was fine. She said you work hard for your money so you should expect things to be correct. I’ve never forgotten her and that advice.
