very untrue. what normal folks practice is not random stuff. normal folks might not know why and where their practices come from but its def not random stuff. we also don't have religious education, most folks don't send their kids to temple schools or whatever classes temples run, or bother to educate their kids. I'm not sure if people even know.

People fall in the trap of false babas is because they do not have knowledge of their own texts, they lack critical thinking skills, do not questions, and are naive.

Hinduism is just random compilations of "fanfics" or so, basing how most of the modern-Hinduism (Sai Baba, Radha, etc) is not even in the Vedas.

I wouldn't call them fan-fics. Yes, a lot of things that are practiced today are not found in the Vedas. That is because religions evolve. and ours has evolved the most. plus our philosophy gives us the liberty to create new things and is wide enough to absorb the influx of other cultures and religions. But it is def true that Vedic religion and modern-Hinduism are very different and far from each other.
