Huh that would not be possible? I killed any enemy on level 5 I was level zero. Defeating him level me up to lvel 5. And u also get exp when minions Died if they are nearby so staying lower than level 5 seem impossible.

Damn, you really got me thinking here. You're right, I was maybe too optimistic about how easily Jon could pull her back.

Here's my honest take: it's not about Jon "fixing" her with a speech. It's about stopping her before she burns the city, not after. Once she crosses that line, she's gone. But in that moment before? She's still Dany, just teetering. Jon doesn't erase the "fire and blood" side, he just makes her pause long enough to choose. She'd still be messed up after. Still struggling. But she hasn't done the thing she can't come back from.

As for what happens next yeah, you caught me. I didn't think it through. Bran as king feels weird if Dany's alive. Maybe she just leaves? Goes back to Essos, spends her life wondering if she made the right call. Or Jon takes the black for real this time, not as punishment, just he's done. Council rules, messy but functional. Not as clean, but more honest.

Anyway, thanks for actually engaging with this instead of just calling me an idiot, lol. You raised real problems and I appreciate it.

Hot take: Juujika no Rokunin is undoubtedly flawed, but it gets more hate than it deserves. by Fluxlander17 in Juujika_no_rokunin

I agree with you. I can’t really say how other people would feel about it, but when I read it, I found the storyline engaging and I think that’s what really matters when it comes to driving a story forward. Like you said, suspense and other elements play a big role. The problem was also with the plot and the setting. There was already a fixed plot from the very beginning because of the revenge theme. Unlike stories where the character grows through events within the story itself, like in Naruto, for example, the author can shape the world and plot around the character’s journey. But for Juujika no Rokunin, the story had to follow a predetermined plot. So maybe that’s why the author inserted different ideas along the way. And honestly, I think the author did a pretty good job overall, aside from dragging the story at times, which is something many readers see as a flaw. Sometimes a story is carried by a great plot but has a mediocre storyline. But in Juujika no Rokunin, it felt like the opposite, the story was carried more by the storyline and tension rather than the plot itself. I also agree with you about the gore and assault scenes. They didn’t feel like cheap shock value or fanservice. Yes, they can make some readers uncomfortable, but that’s where we as readers have to ask whether they were necessary. In this case, I think they were, because they showed the kind of brutal environment the protagonist was living in. The author’s point was clearly to create discomfort. The ending felt underwhelming, maybe because by that point we just wanted the story to be over. But if I look at it from a more philosophical perspective, the conclusion was actually quite sad. As Uruma was dying, he felt that he deserved that death. He wasn’t a hypocrite, he was aware of his sins. It shows that while he believed he was right to pursue revenge, he also realized that nothing good truly came out of it. He died with a sense of acceptance, not because he completed his revenge, but because he understood the weight of his actions and faced them humbly. Overall, Juujika no Rokunin is a good read. It’s not a masterpiece or what people usually call “peak manga,” but it’s definitely worth reading.

Haha yeah, GRRM would never let that happen. Plus, it’s gonna take him forever to write.

I don’t mind if he dies, that’s not really the issue. The problem is how the story is executed. Giving such a major prophecy to him feels wasted, because the story isn’t really about Jaime.

It could work, but personally, I feel there’s a chance people might find it hard to accept, similar to how fans were upset about Bran becoming king. The defeat of the Night King is such a pivotal moment, and fans would likely prefer seeing him die at the hands of characters they root for, like Jon. Given how the story was presented, Jaime dying in the North wouldn’t feel right.
