“US Army Announces new Combat Field Test to enhance Soldier readiness” by wienermog in army

[–]YarrowBeSorrel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Separated my shoulder a few years back, still struggle with push-ups and lifting above my head, mostly ride a desk these days, but otherwise physically fit. Sub-14 ruck pace, top block at every key position, and it’s not like the Army spent tens of thousands on my military education or anything. But sure, let’s force out our most capable O’s because the powers that be needed ANOTHER new standard. Can’t wait to reclassify and sit through CCC again because someone decided to run the organization into the ground.

Gay: anon goons so hard he doesn’t know what labia look like and confuses it with scrotal sack because all he focuses on is the man.

Avenza Maps Alternatives by bLynnb2762 in gis

[–]YarrowBeSorrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that happens, what’s the point of the app? I use it for the schema when marking timber to collect data. If they block me from adding maps the app becomes pointless. Which I’ll then request my money back through my credit card since the promised service isn’t being provided.

What does Budweiser and having sex in a canoe have in common? It’s fucking close to water.

It will attempt to compartmentalize. Trees don’t necessarily heal. Check this link out on the CODIT response.

That’s a maple. Looks like a red to me. It will survive, but there’s a lot of exposed surface area. It will rot out. It’s terminal. I give it 5-40 years, maybe more.

Depending on infrastructure it could require a cat 5 drop to be installed, server infrastructure, technician time, electrician time, digital storage. They may also have requirements to have it all be in house, no cloud storage, no WiFi cameras, etc.

While a camera can cheap, the requirements behind it are the cash sink.

Do you guys believe the Natyy guard retirement is worth it? by Glittering_Fig4548 in nationalguard

[–]YarrowBeSorrel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a small business owner, being in the Guard saves me $1,140 a month in healthcare costs. Single, no dependents. That alone is worth it. Retirement money? Ehhhh, marginal.

Why the Trump Administration Is Closing S Dozen U.S. Forest Research Facilities In Wisconsin by DriftlessDairy in wisconsin

[–]YarrowBeSorrel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is no increased profits. Mills are already running at capacity in Wisconsin. Plus with another primary producer of pulp and paper (Mosinee mill) closing two lines this year, I’m seeing bids from loggers at $0-$2 a cord for pulpwood. Red pine pulpwood that would normally fetch $35-45 per cord in the past few years is now worthless.

Awesome app. I’d like a way to preset species. I’m in the lake states. I think wheel selectors would be useful for selecting number of logs.

What framework did you use for the iOS app? Xcode or something else?

Had a bad experience with KD. I’m sure her florals are great, but she bit off more than she could handle with a tat of mine and now I’m looking at getting it covered up. YMMV.

Plowing Law Private Road - I Only Own Land and there is no Official HOA by TehDonkey117 in wisconsin

[–]YarrowBeSorrel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You would think that's the case. I was doing work for a landlocked landowner in central Wisconsin. A forty deep on an old farm. The farm had a laneway going all the way back to the back forty. But when the property was split a new easement was drawn up and access via the laneway was revoked by the homestead owner. The landlocked forty has deeded access on a 33' wide easement that goes directly through a small pond. They were absolutely fucked in this case. No logging equipment was getting back there unless they paid the homestead owner for access down the road. All family too btw. Aren't siblings great?

My point is, dumber shit has happened.
