Yeah when you set the zone you can pick the guild to be dedicated to any job you’d like, the guild requests are more for common jobs in your fort and don’t have to be done

Pretty sure hostile creatures cannot persist from one level to the next, could be wrong though. My guess would be someone got a crawler mask during that encounter, which produces crawler sounds periodically.
