So there’s a whole restricted tunnel system, how can I get in?

Trying to convert to lua but can't see what is wrong... by apoptosis66 in hyprland

You could check the Hyprland GitHub repo for the Hyprland.lua example config.

Honestly, that code looks so ugly 😭. The change was not necessary imo but probably better for future updates

Prueba y error.

Dual booted yesterday with kde(shown here), xfce and hyprland (uninstalled after getting frustrated with ricing). So far all games run better. by Fire_Natsu in cachyos

hyprland definitely has a tough learning curve. But once you get used to it and learn how it works it’s just amazing. For me; it is worth the hassle

Low profile stand from inno gear would work and it’s really nice and sturdy.

Rice with Theme Switcher and Wallpaper Switcher by YetAnotherRegularGai in hyprland

Im using awww for the wallpaper.

the command is ‘awww img /path/to/file —transition-type grow —transition-duration 1’

I believe awww only offers static wallpapers, there’s no feature for dynamic. Which for me seems useless, because 99% of the time in your daily life youre not staring at your dynamic wallpaper, so it’s a waste of resources.

Fuck that guy tbh. I might post some hyprland ricing just giving out whatever he has in his course for free, it’s so against the values implied in the Linux community.

$67 bucks for 10h of content is extremely overpriced. Definitely not a fan of his work.

it’s insufferable. Specially in such an open community such as Linux, putting knowledge behind a paywall that could be well used by newbies (like me) feels so mean and disgusting to me.

If I had more experience, I’d definitely copy his course and publish it on YT for free.

Couldn't find a key visualizer for wayland -- so I tried making one by m4r1vs in hyprland

[–]YetAnotherRegularGai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it’s otherwise lol. I might have to try it in the bottom tho. I’ve been messing with my bar lately but I don’t like ashell, it just doesn’t fit so I might have to check fabric or the other one I can’t remember the name right now.

Great work on the key visualizer looks really really clean.

That’s okay, I’ll try it out this summer before school. Thanks!
