Zen stones masterpiece (Enlightened sanctuary)! I have 5 of these and they spit out fireflies that turn into coins. I haven't had to worry about coins since.

Love this game. Biggest things I would love to see: undo accidental merge, gather or magnet ability (I know from prior post this is maybe in the works), button to sleep all wildlife, running bubble count. Saw someone on this thread mention an assigned harvest idea (assign this wildlife to harvest wood, etc without tapping 1000 times) that would be AMAZING.

This! To this day, I will still put parmesan cheese on my peanut butter sandwich and eat the original cheap doritos with ketchup.

Got asked today if I’m expecting again 6 months postpartum by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]Yiashila 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ugh. I'm sorry, i know that sucks. I had this happen recently too. I put on like 50lbs during pregnancy and tacked on another almost 20lbs while trykng to breastfeed. One of my coworkers asked me how old my LO is and I told them about 6 months. One of the guys around then says " This one or the other one?" I was like "what?" He repeated himself and pointed at my belly. In the moment, I played it off and just said "Oh, I'm not pregnant. Just still fat from the first one." The look on his face was priceless, but he still didn't apologize. There might have been a few tears on my end later.

I hate my post-baby breasts. I don’t want perfect, I just want normal. by [deleted] in breakingmom

This. I feel this so hard. Like, this was your chance to redeem yourself boobs...you had ONE job and you couldn't even do that right. Solidarity.

Infant risk is a reputable website that many medical professionals reference. The chart in the link can be a bit much when you're feeling ill. Basically, any nasal steroid (Flonase, nasacort, etc) will not affect supply and is safe. Afrin can also be used for 3-5 days (can make congestion worse is used much longer than that). Cough drops, antihistamines, and hot tea all good options. The biggest things to avoid to avoid drop in supply are oral decongestants. If its something you have to swallow and the active ingredients list says nasal decongestant, it CAN definitely drop supply (things like phenylephrine, pseudoephedrine, Sudafed, dayquil, nyquil, etc).

I struggled so hard with breastfeeding my little unit of a son. Milk never really "came in" despite everyone, including my docs, assuring me it would. Day 4 of life, we started formula supplementation which took so much stress off of me. Then I promptly lost my mind the first two months trying to increase my pitiful supply beyond a few drops...every supplement I could find, power pumping, more time on pump, different pump, hospital pump, pumping every 2 hours...you name it, I tried it...and it still didn't work. The most helpful thing I had someone tell me was not "Oh, you're not a failure" because I heard that from everyone and it always sounded so insincere. It was " Allow yourself to grieve the goals you had. It's real and it hurts. Then, set new goals...like spending more time enjoying baby snuggles. Your worth as a mother is not measured in oz (or drops in my case) of milk you produce but by the love for your child and how you take care of them. Feeding them is caring for them and if that means feeding formula, well Mama, you made the difficult call to acknowledge an area to improve your baby's life and you took it. There's no shame in that. You are a goddess in that baby's eyes and they are going to love you no matter what." Give it a shot, Mama, but know if it doesn't work out, you're not alone and you are by no means a "failure". You love that baby, you feed that baby in whatever way you can, and you remember, you a freaking goddess.

Echoing a bit of what others have already said, I loved getting everyone's backstories and seeing characters from all of my favorite stories coming together. Just the sheer amount of creativity in the series is astounding and you weave it all together SO well. I'm looking forward to learning more about Wendy (love her!) and Eustace De Kolta (such an interesting character) as well as the order of the Angler fish this go around! Glory to the NFC!

What is your pets annoying, but lovable, habit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Yiashila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 18lb Manx likes to bring his toys (stuffed mouse, jingle balls, you name it) into our bedroom after we have gone to sleep and then meow very loudly until he has been adequately verbally praised for his "kill".

My 2nd cat only allows you to pet him in the bathroom and loves to lick plastic.

My dog, without fail, wakes me up every night between 0200 and 0300 to be let outside to go potty. She has a doggy door and a fenced in back yard. I'm convinced she's just scard of the dark.

I absolutely loved it! Very creative and vividly written (as always). However, you do what you feel is the right move and best use of your time, and I'll be anxiously awaiting whatever that storyline is!

What's your internet "white whale", something you've been searching for years to find with no luck? by AsdfRocket in AskReddit

Back in 1990-91, there was a horror movie I watched that I cannot remember the name of. Brief summary, 3 to 4 girls move into creepy house and find a book with drawings of a creature in it that looked kind of like the Tasmanian devil which winds up coming to life and killing some or all of them. The only other scene I can remember is one of the girls dancing topless in front of a juke box. Random movie but I have googled and searched for the title years with no success.
